  2. Very good…..and also they should punish chinese urinating in public places in broad daylight and one i saw in you tube recently in fort santiago a chinese woman .

    1. Well you can do that in San Francisco California these days without consequence. Crazy days.

  3. Logical. I wish Canada would do the same… too “woke” and into the diversity dilution to protect their citizens I gather….

    1. @fireson23 It’s the International Monetary Fund making money available to the Chinese that has allowed their success to proliferate–much like the US has been doing for the past century. That and the US’s lust for cheap goods from China.
I’ll agree with your points as the Western societies have been getting whored out to fight endless conflicts which have only benefitted the bankers. I would say the Chinese government and their restrictions on personal liberties detracts from the perception that their Communist government is great for the people. Regardless, your points are well said. Peace…

    2. @fireson23 And don’t forget how great they ruled under Chairman Mao during the Cultural Revolution when millions of Chinese were murdered. Great times back then!

    3. @david david those commies have have taken 800 million people out of poverty, built entire mega cities with countless skyscrapers, 10 lane highways, mega airports, the longest high speed bullet train lanes in the world from fishing villages and farming communities with infrastructure that makes North America look like a developing country.

They have also built the second largest economy on Earth soon to be number 1 all in 40 to 50 years.

What have our good for nothing, useless parliaments and congresses in the West done in the last 40 years. Gotten us in stupid endless wars, debt pits? Fatten then bank accounts of the one percent while the middle classes wages have stagnated and our purchasing power dwindles

Even Since Deng Xiaoping came to power, those
Commies you have talked about with so much contempt have ruled China way better than Western liberal governments have ruled the West. That is a fact. All this bickering and name calling is just jealousy and envy on the part of many people in the West and the main stream media.

    1. CCP does not release any real info (as the CCP may stand out as incompetent). Therefore neighboring countries should assume the worst.

  4. im going to meet my ldr gf for the 1st time on feb 8th in ph………….except………i broke this news to my parents and their doing everything to prevent me from pursuing this….great timing….with the corona virus and all….plus (im american)……..there is a connecting flight in beijing………and the layover is only an hour…so im concerned about that as well….but everyone on the internet is saying it will be fine…but my overbearing, helicoptor parents……are doing everything to prevent this vacation from happening…..with it about 10ish days away….and it sucks………………

    1. @Ray Wolf have a safe trip Sir. And please always have an alcohol or hand sanitizer, wet wipes and N95 mask. Enjoy staying here in PH.

    2. Are your parents against your relationship with your ldr gf? Or are they simply concerned because of the stopover in Beijing?

    3. Edgar Mirth: i’m in the same boat as you. I’ll be traveling from Las Vegas to Beijing on February 19. Will be in Beijing for an hour and 50 minutes. I guess the good thing news is the flight from Beijing to the Philippines will be empty since the Philippines is not allowing Chinese nationals to enter the Philippines.

While in Beijing, I’ll be wearing an N 95 mask and sit away from the crowd.

  5. good and timely clarification – and a good reminder that the “visa waiver” program (applicable to most Europeans, Americans, Australians etc) is not the same as the Visa Upon Arrival option for certain other nationals

  6. Sorry, Ricky , you need to check USA embassy, USA CITIZENS have to apply for visa’s before travel before travelling to the Philippines, Due to the lima incident

    1. your information is wrong. americans have no such requirement for a visa before arrival. it has been thrown around that it ‘might’ apply to senators, but not usa-citizens.

i just arrived in the PH 3-weeks ago, no pre-visa required. several of my american friends have arrived and, again, no pre-visa required. nothing has changed with americans entering the ph, still the same visa-waiver and 30-day tourist visa on arrival.

you need to re-read whatever source you are referring to and understand it clearly. it did not say what you think it said.

    1. you will just enter the terminal and the take your flight as usual if you are not a chinese-national.

    2. you will just enter the terminal and the take your flight as usual if you are not a chinese-national.

  7. Thx…I think they’re probably being judicious here and not too crazy ..since probably a lot of Pinays go to China to work and send money home….

  8. There are real benefits to being a dictator, like Duarte. People on the left would hurl themselves off cliffs if we tried something that “racist” in the US.

  9. Glad to hear that…..since the CCP didn’t do their job in preventing this from spreading then it makes sense that countries take a more aggressive approach to Chinese nationals……

  10. Thanks for clarifying that Reekay and a good move at this stage from the Government considering the circumstances.

  11. Being that I intend to head to the Philippines around the middle of March, what is the status for the coronavirus in the Philippines?

    1. going to cause? they already did everything to cause it, they covered it up until after their people spread around the world, this is not an outbreak, it is an attack

  12. Nice Catch, Sir. Good thing they did Reekay, because of the Corona-virus, happening there. Although I think it would be better, not even to fly them in, in the first place.

  13. My connecting flight to the Philippines is CHINA… should I have any problems? (I’m not a chinese national)

    1. no, not unless you are chinese. you will just enter the terminal and the take your flight as usual if you are not a chinese-national.

  14. Has anyone heard of an update of the philippine president making it mandatory for US citizens to have a Visa before arriving to the Philippines

    1. no changes have been made. there was some media-talk which only applied to visiting senators. but no changes. visa-waiver and visa upon arrival the first 30-days is still as it’s always been. (jan 29th, 2020) more on that subject here..

  15. 132 people have died out of the 2000+ gotten got infected.

That is not even a 3% death rate.

Last year the common flu infected 5 million people and killed 650 000 people around the world. Including 8200 in the US, and 3500 in Canada.

The mass media is blowing this story way out of proportion and going into panic mode.

Most of the people infected will recover just fine. If it was a disease that killed at least 30% of those infected then yes. But a disease that kills less than 3% of it’s victims.

    Common, man!!!

  16. Good video thank you. So with the passport, I can jump on plane. When I get off at the Philippines go to immigration there an get visa? I just need to add a round-trip airport ticket.

  17. Expats take precautions get supplies now! Philippines still reporting 0 confirmed cases?? Don’t panic but prepare!!

    1. 2 confirmed cases. They traveled from china- hongkong – cebu – dumaguete – Manila. The 2nd confirmed case has already died.

  18. Good to know. I have a flight to the Ph end of March. I should pass in transit through Thailand. Hope they will not have more cases there too and that it will be all finished by then I’m more scared about all the panic from authorities and closing down airports and the like than the idea of the virus that of course it is bad I know

  19. Thanks Reekay!
When I saw this video on the 28th I had already cancelled my flight to the Philippines for that day. My flight was from Amsterdam to Manila, with a transfer in Hong Kong. I had planned to meet my pinay penpal for the first time and stayed for 3 weeks.
We were planning to do some island hopping, including Cebu on feb 3rd. I also cancelled my flight, because I anticipated (local) authorities may have to resort to policies and restrictions that I (or we) don’t want to have to deal with.
Hope to visit the Philippines later this year!

    1. Good decision. We filipinos welcome you here in PH but for now, it is not safe to go around. Hope you will visit our country very soon.

    1. buy a cheap ticket that leaves the PH (example; manila to hong kong) within 30-days and show that to immigration when you enter. (you do not have to actually fly this flight.)

then.. extend your tourist-visa prior to the end of the 30-days.

  20. How does anyone give a thumbs down on this? It is just U giving helpful. It just goes to show U how stupid trolls really are.

    1. trolls behave like ignorant juveniles. stunted in their growth to be acting like that now.
