Hehe, I guess John can align himself now with some OFW groups because his situation is the same as with most OFWs, the husbands or the wives who are also fathers or mothers to young kids.

Your “making a video” sounds a lot like being a mobile DJ. A 3 hour show takes all day. 45 minutes to load the car, about 1 hr to drive there, 45 min set up, 20 minutes testing, then background music until the 3 hour show. Then 30 minutes tear down and load into the car, drive home and 20 minutes unloading. That is one show. After that show and before the next, there is practice time at home and developing the next show. Moving the amps and speakers also did not help the back and leg muscles.
Only problem with starting a channel is you have to register it and pay taxes on it.

I’ve always admired you Reekay because you present your self honestly. And your podcasts are hands down the most professionally produced.
Glad to hear John as able to get a job so soon after arrival back in the States.
There should be an expat group that finds other expats that are homeless or strung out on drugs etc, and get them the hell out of the country and back to their own country. They make us look bad.
Thanks for the update on John, it’s a great thing what you, Paul and the others have done for him. I’m rooting for John and hope he takes advantage of this opportunity you and the other guys have given him. I have a good feeling that he will.

If john had played things in a more proper way would he have been able to live in the phils on his savings until his retirement kicks in? (which was his original plan)
