3. Reekay, are you using your GoPro to shoot that? If so, what night settings are you using? We love the night market. Great place to hang-out!

   1. yes, using the gopro/hero3 silver set at 1080p. but i adjust the exposure in Filmora during editing to get an image closer to what was happening at the time.

4. Cool video, thanks. Looks like a lot less beggers in the market now. When I was there I was getting hit up for money every 30 seconds from street kids. To the point I stopped trying to sit and eat there.

   1. i only saw maybe 4 kids that went from table to table singing for some pesos. that was about it.

5. Hi Reekay and Vi,I’ve been there very nice some good foods,stayed right near there at the marco polo hotel. One thing that I thought was wild was they start setting all that up in the early evening then by morning it’s all gone. Some good foods there. Love Davao. Ohhh might want too check out MTS nice place too. Take care you too.

   I visited the Philippines back in April of 2019…and visited the market place you’re talking about in the video..
   It’s was way cool place to visit when in Davio city..
   I give it two thumbs up…

   1. i really enjoy it. i love bbq and they have plenty to choose from. and seafood, which vi likes. (i’m not a big seafood fan.)

   1. vi didn’t feel like taking a chance on it, so we passed. ha! but i’ve had it before and it’s very tasty. a hard flavor to describe. not fruity, just kinda like sweet ice or something. 🙂

10. I love going to these huge night markets in the Philippines and Hanoi, Vietnam. Great for date nights!

    A nice street food meal, shopping for bargains, a couple cocktails and a beautiful Filipina!!

    1. Night time chowing reminded me when I was in Dumaguete, we had balots and teriyaki or was it tempura by the sea. She is, isn’t she? Sobrang bata naman.

20. Hi , me and my family are planning a trip to Cebu in June. Should we buy our tickets now or wait til this coronavirus thing plays out? I heard flights are being cancelled. I usually fly through Hong Kong on Cathey from New York.

26. Enjoyed your visit to the night market. Rose and I have been there a few times. Everyone is friendly, the food is good also. Great place. I saw the vendor that Rose and I got a shake, it was delicious. We got Rose a bendable tripod there. A lot to look at for sure. Vi looks nice, I’m happy for you Sir.

    1. i love vietnam, and i plan to return taking Vi with me. so much to see and enjoy there. i’m in the ph to build the relationship together, i am not into LDR.

    1. The troll channel loon seems to be having a emotional breakdown. He and his trolls can,t seem to get any of the lies to stick. Since they are just that lies.

    3. ha! it had zero to do with trolls. this morning FB decided to do a random ‘account verification’ and the ONLY option it gave me to confirm is with a code… texted to my old number in Vietnam. which i no longer have access to.

       i’ve gone to several websites but it seems this is a long-standing oversight with FB, making the confirmation text only available to the mobile number on the account.

       i’m hoping to have it resolved asap.
