I think the islands are telling me to stay away 🙂
There is a lovely crater where a volcano was , friends in Iloilo ? Were flooded for Xmas . Then landslides .
Then that huge cyclone . Am going back a bit I know 🙂
Over the years have chatted to some really nice Phil ladies .
If I am not easily getting there , no relationship .
I did get close , flew over from NZ to Bkk 8 years ago , was no real romantic interest and no word from the Orchid Society .
Was a 7 week trip already 🙂
One has to land by air close to a city 🙂
Then get into the city centre 🙂
They all have their own charm and history .
And traffic 🙂
Done my travels 🙂 Am happy to live in a small city where it is not a major issue .
As far as I see , would need a month over there . That is a long trip from here 🙂
Maybe one day 🙂

Eden Nature Park is a great place to visit for the wooded nature trail , great buffet and Ziplines in Davao , Mt Apo area
Moalboal would also be a great first landing spot too…
Agreed why visit a city .?
I like & agree with yur Cebu-Bohol suggestion. I did something similar with a 16 day trip after being here 2 yrs. Drifting up to Loboc & Chocolate Hills is also something I would do again. You mention Alona Beach another coool place I really miss. Cebu proper always has much to offer & more of the city life w/cool malls/restos/etc.
