  2. So planning on coming late spring.
I think I will have all the requirements.
Wanted to stay 10 weeks. So do I buy a ticket with 30 day return? Nefore the first 30 days are up..get an extention….
change my ticket to 30 days later.
Then change it again 2 weeks after that after getting another extention?
    Oy!
That can get expensive to keep changing return date.
If I get a visa from the Ph consulate in LA ..can it authorize me for the entire 10 weeks so I can just buy a ticket with return one time.???
Amyone know the best way to do a 10 week visit?
    Reekay? Anyone?

It used to be 59 days for visa on entry. But all I jear now is 30 days…..?

  3. Dear Reekay , i am spanish , my vaccine certificate is legal and official even with qr code and accepted internationally , but Spain it is not accepted in the reciprocity acceptance countries , i have already bought my flights , scheduled for this coming March 19th , i spent so much money with the intention of being with my fiance after a long and hard waiting , this is my question ; if i accoplish all the rest of requierements such as; negative rt pcr , health insurance , valid lasting passport etc , will they bounce me for not being able to validate my certificate? Beacause im willing to be in quarantine as long they let me in.
there is so much confusing information regarding this and i can risk so much money and effort if they dont let me in . i am really concern , thank reekay

  4. I see we can only stay 30 days, is that correct. we need min 4 months to take care of my wife’s business and her SSS.

  5. Aloha….i love how you break things down explain stuff….most differently a great topic to learn and get the right 411
In these times.it s a huge topic for 55 plus with preexisting conditions…..
Thanks keep rolling one man can make a huge difference……good look and God bless ye

  6. im so sick and tired of this . i went thru it in thaland entry and it fried my brain. now i start all over

  7. There is absolutely zero chance they can enforce any insurance premiums on thousands of travelers. This is one of those requirements that they hope people follow but in reality have no way of enforcing it

  8. And that’s the scary part ….what will they do to you …if you get a false positive result on day 5 ..funny how they left that part out …..

  9. Where do you do the quarantine when you can’t provide this information or fail a test, My understanding was some hotels provide but that’s if you were to book in advance so what would the costs be?

Also home quarantine, can that be in any home or hotel room or apartment that you may have booked, how does that work?

  10. Even though it seems they are talking about non-vaxxed, it still might be difficult to board the plane. Just my opinion.

  11. I wonder if the travel insurance that PAL offers, has the $35K Covid coverage? I just booked my flight back for late March, and might add it, if it’s the coverage needed?

  12. Seems to be straight forward however for me makes more sense until everything settles,so much can change. The biggest issue I can see is getting the test within 48 hour’s of flight time, with all the testing confusion and getting results in hand may not be easy. If someone has nothing but time they can take their time in order to get to the Philippines however on the other hand if someone is just going for the first time for a month or two better off waiting for dust to settle , unless willing to take a chance of getting locked back in , just to much craziness going on in the world . Great info, I am anxious to go but will wait until end of year.

  13. so can i buy a round trip ticket to the ph, i am American, i plan on flying to the ph in may staying a few weeks

  14. Good evening to you. Purchasing a fake onward ticket, do you think they have caught on to that by now? Or they really don’t care? Thanks for the valuable information have a nice weekend

  15. I’ve heard about the 5-day quarantine, but it almost seems too good to be true. We need some expats to verify this.

  16. 4 reasons EVEN FullyVAXED PAX can end up inquarantine….includes appearancee of moderate symptoms. Easy to find…for any one interested 4 REASONS FULLY VACCINATED END UP IN QUARANTINE HOTEL ACCORDING TO THE NEW BOQ MEMO

  17. Hey Reekay, thanks for the update! Never actually had this kind of travel insurance before. Any particulars you are aware of that you might suggest looking at? Thanks again!

  18. So your a tourist, what does it mean ‘stay in your home’, if you have to quarantine, obviously a tourist will be staying in a hotel or Airbnb, is that regarded as a home?

  19. on the insurance requirement, what is their view of Tri-care or Medicare insurance ? Good enough, or do we need to pay for more? Just pulled out my old military WHO shot record – going to get my “China Virus” shots added to it!!

  20. Great info as it is coming out. Are there any recommendations for the COVID insurance that will be accepted by the immigration dept that can be bought in the US prior to trip that will be valid in PH?

  21. Lol. Let’s see how long the new guidelines/resolutions become old. I like yur ” scouts honor “, don’t think many scouts perhaps…

  22. What about US Veteran’s Administration, Tri-Care, or Medicare Insurance? Any word on that?

  23. $35,000 worth of coverage is pretty steep.

Expedia gives me up to $10,000 when I add insurance to my trips.
