Share with me my ongoing adventures of life in the Philippines. Hopefully you find my observations helpful in your own adventures.

  2. Paul used to be red-pilled to the gills, but I can understand why he made his decision. He took his time and picked who he believes is the right woman. That being said, there’s an old saying, “it’s a woman’s preogative to change her mind,” and that saying didn’t just fall out of the F’n sky. While I’d like a wife, I myself just can’t get past how sh*tty today’s “throw men under the bus” divorce laws have become (even the Philippines commonlaw marriage laws are pretty sh*tty). For me, getting married would be akin to walking around with a bomb strapped to my back, knowing she’s got the triggering device crazy-glued in her fist. Not a good dynamic for a healthy relationship to exist, IMHO.

  3. Being alone isn’t as bad as it sounds. If you’re daily motivation is prioritizing women instead of bettering yourself spiritually, mentally and physically then you will not be fulfilled in life. Also if a woman desires all of your attention and gives you nothing but chaos in return drop them and don’t look back.

  4. I lost track of the video from LifeBeyondTheSea on how to make money, remotely, but if someone has financial or economics background, and even if not, you can become a contributor to Seeking Alpha. They have a list of stocks that pay a minimum of $65, because they are not being covered as frequently as the platform would prefer. I have a strong finance background, but a year or so ago I wrote about 6 articles in the first 2 weeks of a month and earned a bit more than $1,500 that month and they asked if I wanted a subscription deal. I did not really want to work that hard. Anyway, you can work as much or as little as you want. Motley Fool, last I heard, pays $100 per article, but that is by invitation, and they are more about story telling…less technical or fundamentals based. For Seeking Alpha, I actually required my Senior Accounting Major students (22-year-olds with no work experience) to do a submission as part of their grade. 105% possible for the course, where I gave them 5% for “trying” and 10% for succeeding, so no real risk or pressure on them. About 1/3rd had their articles accepted. Ideal word length is about 800 to 1,200 words. My objective was to get my students to have a compensated, editorial reviewed article on their resume prior to graduation. One student did 6 articles during the semester, because he liked the money. Stay well.

  5. That! Was my favorite story from Rekay. “I opened my eyes and hundreds of goats were starring at me through the windows”. Hahahaha

  6. minute men are dangerious to others, they fall for the first girl they see that gives them attention, WRONG THINKING

  7. My search is not for a woman but a very affordable place to retire fairly cheaply. Recently saw an expat video who lives there and spends $1200 – $1500 / mo. but also said he could easily live on about $900 / mo. > “if I wanted” ? He travels and drinks a lot. — A serene and relaxed comfortable retirement is my goal. There are many places on various islands to do that ? Lipa City @1000 feet is cooler & only 1 hour to the beach. Tagaytay is at 2000 feet and even a bit cooler. Both are beautiful scenic areas and have low costs. And they both offer easy day trips to Manila for fun or excellent health care. Depends on what people are looking for ? I’m alone and like it that way. Yet socializing with other expats will be fun and enjoying the friendly locals offers enjoyment as well.

  8. The issue of settling is very common due to past experiences. The extreme beyond reality values of western women caused it.

In the Philippines its all reversed but most men dont do to the women what was done to us in the west. But i think the guy has a much better chance of getting someone good even if he did chase the first one. Its just the nature of most Filipinas.

  9. Audio is painful with all that constant white noise in the background…. Might get a mic with a sound threshold so it only picks up your voice

  10. Nice to see you guys happy. I am planning to visit the Philippines in January and February in hope to find a soulmate to develop a strong relationship. I hope to see you there.

  11. Never bet more than one is prepared to lose on anyone or anywhere.
Just been retired here 6 months. Staying single as these guys strongly advise. No issues. Thanks.

  12. A guy may come to the Philippines with certain preferences in women. Those preferences can change over time also

  13. A very good video I am glad that you situate yourself in specific cities that Ex-pats may want to reside in. Great interviews, as the Islands are still good places, things have changed in the 21st century with changes and changing dynamics. I would like to see this too! Peace

  14. The two biggest issues that every man has to overcome is money and women. If he can slay those two dragons he can make it. Virtually every problem he will face during the first year comes back to those two issues. Getting a few good wingmen who can guide him through the initial year or two is a life saver.
