Great life advice overall!
My Philippina wife who left me failed all of these apart from being attractive. I made a video about Donald Trump and since then you could apply the criteria to him. My personal view is he is good to the bone.
One of the most overused falsified phrases is “looks don’t matter”
In the end if there’s not a physical attraction there, then really there’s nothing there. Yeah beauty is only skin deep but one thing that can never be taken away is that ugliness goes straight to the bone.
Now looking at it in a reverse way. If you’re someone that don’t consider yourself a prize catch or just consider yourself average or anything like that and then suddenly you’re hearing from these filipinas how handsome you are, how good-looking you are, and then they use those words of looks don’t matter then it’s time to run. All they’re doing is buttering you up and fattening you up for the big letdown
When looking for a woman for relations and/or marriage I do remember the phrase that you and I have adopted, being that “Time is your friend”. There are no truer words spoken and should be followed to the letter. Peace
excellent advice, thanks, wish i would have seen this 5 years ago. there are aspects that are unique to Asian women, because many of us are choosing partners who would otherwise be way out of our league physically back in the western world. Attention from beautiful Asian women can make it very easy to take our eye off the ball, rationalize bad behavior, etc.
Jimmy Soul, if you want a happy life, never make pretty woman your wife. Get an ugly girl to marry you.
Hey I met a girl from the Philippines online, been trying to find a reason to think it won’t work but to be honest she is just really cool. I am going to meet her, and I was wondering whether I should take a gift for her and her family. And what should I take? Definitely will be traveling light so room in luggage is an issue. Good pointers Henry. My experience so far with my Thai girlfriend has been positive in all areas so far. She is very aware that I will not move out of the US and when we both decide our time is right, she will come here.
One factor that I am considering is I would have her come on a tourist visa first to the US and stay for as long as her Tourist Visa allows (she can come on a B2 Tourist Visa for up to 6 months maximum).
We can plan a civil wedding only (keep all costs down), if our relationship and her willing to move here is on agreement.
1) Every expat who meets my wife is like “Wow, where did you meet her.” She is smoking. 2) Best communication I’ve ever, 3) no debt, kept refusing reasonable cab fair, thought she was paying half the rent when I asked her to move in (I laughed), She has a credit card with me, knows where the cash is kept and knows when to change dollars to pesos. She just spends on normal things and gets a little never “Oh, I bough so and so a birthday gift b/c we were going to the party” (like who cares). I really found a catch.
