The 15 to 1 ratio is false. Not every filipina wants a foreigner relationship. Somewhere I read its about just 5% who wants a foreigner. But if we count with your 50% ratio than we still have 7.5 million to date.
Where is your source for the number of American expats in the Philippines?
As of now , the united states has no idea where i’m living and where i’m an expat, I’d love to see your sources Reekay
even the 1’s and 2’s among the 18-25 y.o. fillipinas knock the sox off the 50+ fat-azz fembots w/flabby arms over-populating in the states buddy
Just consider your looks and your attitude. I have no problems finding girls. Plenty of fish in the ocean.
Sorry to keep commenting but fyi. If you travel thru Taipei, the Oriental Lounge lets you buy time in hours. About $10 an hours and it’s nice

If you halved the filipinas due to marriage, same has to be done for the expats!

Good luck getting your Filipina wife to the states. It’s an impossible process rife with fraud.
Interesting video. I like those 15-to-1 odds but I wonder how many of those 15 Filipinas are under 4′ 9″ tall? Probably very few. Why do I use that height–so far 100% of the profiles &/or videos I’ve seen of Filipinas of that height that are looking for a foreigner only want to meet a guy who is at least 5′ 6″ tall. That seems to be the “magic minimum” height that Filipinas find acceptable for a foreign man.

You’re not deducting the pros.
Or the Filipinas who aren’t interested in a life with an elderly foreigner.
Or the reality that over 90% of all Filipinas simply aren’t attractive.
Or that most of the geographically way-out spots are simply not desirable as permanent places for Westerners to spend the rest of their lives..
Rather than 15 million available Filipinas, isn’t it more accurate to say that the # of desirable & conveniently located Filipinas is a lot closer to only 1 million, maximum?
Which makes barely 1 Filipina for every Westerner.
Don’t forget about the Filipinas that have 7 boyfriends
As I sit in the Cebu airport some final thoughts on my trip to the Philippines. Again, I was in Cebu Business Center and completely understand it’s not representative of the country as a whole.
The people are incredibly warm and friendly. Truly wonderful
Security is heavy here. I had to walk through metal detector to get into my hotel, mall etc. most individual stores had their own security as well.
One mile from BC is extreme poverty. Kind of jarring
Spaghetti and fried chicken are huge here lol
The food overall is mediocre at best
Rental units have terrible furniture compared to Thailand
Manage your expectations about Filipinas wanting you by the droves. Not going to happen
That said I got a few smiles that, if I was staying, I would have talked to. Definitely better than the states
Lots of overweight Filipinas
For me ( and this is just my opinion) I think Thailand is a much better choice. Better infrastructure, food, healthcare and, since I prefer slim and petite, I think Thai women are better looking overall. Thailand is also cheaper.

I don’t take away from any of your analysis. I was thinking about how even the so called desirable traditional wOmen in the U.S. are attracted to the same 4% of men that the non traditional wOmen want, which shuts out 96% of the men that want her and further exacerbates the situation.
Thanks for your analysis i can t deal with those vloggers who are telling us that the philipinnes is oversaturated or that is harder now for foreigners to date filipinas it s complete bs .

You’re assuming that every filipina is looking for a foreigner. That’s absolutely false. The vast majority of single filipina date or want to date a Filipino. So your 15 to 1 ratio is giving expats false hope that their odds are great, when in actuality it’s probably reversed. It’s probably closer to a 1:1 ratio or maybe even for every filipina who wants to date a foreigner, she has 15 from which to choose.
Actually there are official statistics about this for the Philippines.
I checked it some years ago and I found that there were 3.9 million single Filipinas in the ages 18-28 y/o.
It’s of course more likely that there are relatively more singles in the lower ages of the population, then in the upper ages.
I also looked up how many were single moms but I only checked Metro Manila. 65% of the singles there are single moms.
I don’t know how it is in the provinces.
Add to this also that a lot of Filipinas (depending on what traditions they have in their families) up to around 30 y/o have never had any “real” relationships either, because they were sacrificed to take care of paying for their younger siblings’ college studies. Some even pay for older male siblings who go to college.
So your figure for 18-40 y/o might very well be around 15 million. What percentage in the provinces that are single moms, I have no clue about. I guess (!) would be that is less than the 65% for Metro Manila.
Either way, the odds for finding a really good Filipina is great so no expat should have to waste their time on women they sense aren’t really interested in the expat dude.
I would never choose a western woman. I have left those behind. They have usually suppressed that a relationship takes time to nurture, so sooner or later they end up wasting their lives in front of the TV watching some ridiculous TV-shows.
Then, when the relationships end, and their former men show up with amazing Filipinas, the gossip starts.

I love analysis like this. I did a spreadsheet of the average American man’s possibilities in the USA. There are 0.02 suitable woman who would also be interested in him. Everyone would have their own different factors to plug into this calculation. I much prefer the Philippines. Go where you are wanted. And I’d never bring a woman back to the US where the culture is toxic and would destroy her sweetness. I’m also worried about social media corrupting the Philippines over time.
Currently in Cebu at the Business Center area which is expat central. 90% of the women I see have Filipino mates. I was surprised by how few expats with Filipina mates I have seen. I get this area is totally different then provinces just what I see
Good advice.
What if an expat is interested in women older than 40-45, even 50?.
And according to several intervju, a lot of Filipinos prefer Filipino, Japanese or Korean.

As a 24 year old Software Engineer who is planning to gain experience to work remotely in US market. If you look at the detailed chart there are roughly 1 million 18 year old girl. And most probably that 1 million is not married at all. Since I am a very young person, I would only go for 18-20 year old girls.
Numbers are actually higher. Unfortunately here even in Turkey, when I go on a date almost all the women shocked when I say I am looking for marriage. I am sick and tired of this. I feel like Muslim part of Philippines is even more conservative compared to Catholics? I hope this is the case. If so I will marry a Muslim Filipina and settle down there. I dont have stress over job since IT is only expanding.
