    1. sorry to hear that. 🙁 i will try to make the most of the time she’s here. we do talk every week on the phone, usually for about an hour. to keep up on the latest. 🙂

  6. Good evening Henry and Vi and a very Merry Christmas! After my father died 20 years ago, my mom stayed with my sister. Then after my divorce 6 years ago, my mom stayed with me. Wish your mom the best health and a great holiday season to your family back home!

    1. yes. 🙂 she was surprised i remembered her mentioning that the patio thermometer had broken a few months ago. looking out the window to see how hot/cold it is outside is a longtime habit of hers.

  33. It’s nice that you still have a mom to wish a Happy Xmas. I miss mine. Our mom passed away last year from lung cancer. Will retire to Cebu in June 2022. Happy Holidays.

  34. Your mom looks strong. happy she is doing much better. I am also been so lucky to still have my mom still around, even at her 89 years of age.

    I had the Moderna Vaccine last night. I get the second dose on January 20. Hopefully I can get into the Philippines at some point with the vaccine card.
