  2. Thanks , very good listing of food available. And I try to follow keto so it was interestin for me.

  3. When it comes to pizza, I try to find the mom-and-pop restaurants…and some of those are actually run by Italians! 🙂

  4. In America Kohl’s , Bed and Bath going out and 400 Berger king closing. This the best video and something different you had done . Great job but not good on my 10 with out food for my fasting. I enjoy it.

  5. Can you buy lard in the stores. I think it’s better for you than the various vegetable oil.

  6. Biggest challenge for me is to find a girl friend that would eat salads, vegetables or fruits. I live in Davao and whole wheat bread is practically impossible to find. Philippinos are not health conscious. They love their deep fried street food till death do them apart.
Young people dying in Philippines is very common and accepted.

  7. We all have an opinion. But sorry! My opinion php foods the worst in asia unless u buy the ingredients cook it yourself unhealthy eating there high fats much better western

  8. I notice there are a lot of overweight Filipina’s out here, especially in their 30’s and in higher end citie’s and hotels. Per Wikipedia, it has the 2nd highest rate of obesity in southeast asia – to my surprise, within southeast asia, obesity is highest is Thailand with Vietnam being the least in the world. With that said, compared to the rest of the world, southeast asian countries are the lowest.

  9. One very good reason why I discontinued searching for another Filipina (after my online ex Filipina Fiance relationship) is the Filipino food that would most likely send me to the Hospital!

Besides Diabetic, being a kidney transplant patient, and having heart issues (cholesterol, blood pressure), the BEST choice for me was either a Thai or Vietnamese girlfriend (which I have a Thai girlfriend already). Every single Thai dish I ate in Thailand was HEALTHY and SAFE with no effects on my health conditions.

I will be back in Thailand in October but this time I will also be staying in her home where she will be making me some very delicious and healthier thai dishes!

  10. What about decent beef? Stay away from the seed oils, they cause all types of disease.

  11. Very comprehensive video,,,,, i have been eating healthy for the past year,,,,,it makes a big difference.

  12. These are all food chains, but why not try some of the local restaurants? I don’t mean the food stalls, I mean the more upscale restaurants. There are some quite good ones with a good choice of dishes.

  13. i never go to mcdonalds in the states..but when travelling it convienent to go nd employees hands never touch food at mcdonalds

  14. A&A BBQ is my favorite Phillipine food place to eat. Roasted scallops, sisig, calamari, bihon, and chop suey..

  15. not sure if you are still in Davao, but in SM Lanang on the third floor is a small place that serves Vietnamese food.. cant recall the name at the moment. it’s next to Classic Savory 🙂

  16. As a native Texan, I never expect a good Texas steak in any place in the world except in Texas. But I understand that even Western food will accommodate local needs in that country. For Filipino food, and for me personally, it might be an acquired taste depending on the dish. But anything that is what I call traditional pork or chicken with some vegetables will work for me as long as it is not too spicy.
