Nice discussion; 100% agree that disrespect has no place in a relationship of any kind. My late wife believe in “duendes” and I found it very cute.
It’s true. Being disrespectful is the beginning of the end. I’ve had 3 westernized Filipinas. They all said rude things. I kept my mouf shut. When it was time to let go of them I unloaded on them. Everything. They were like “I’m sorry! I didn’t mean to…”.Boohoo. Done. I’ve seen the little monsters. I think Muslim women might more respectful. I might date a couple but I won’t change my beliefs.
Yeah but in the Philippines I’ve seen ALOT of issues with the women that I just laugh at and shrug off..like they are very jealous of each other if the lady has a Western man and some women sellers jack up the price of items if my GF is seen with her foreign man and this causes a huge female fight.
completely agreed with you, i had a Margarita in Cebu….OMG…nothing like the on i had in Socal or Mexico !
***My opinion, but I don’t remember any Westerners, Thai, Malaysian or Vietnamese people say they missed the food in the Philippines*** A majority of Filipino food is not tasty to most Westerners and unhealthy too. Jollibee is a disaster, eeewww
