2. I spent one month in Cebu 6 months ago. I stayed at a nice condo in Mandaue City. Vacationed in Boracay and Bohol. Every day I felt the freedom and stress-free feeling you speak of. I am returning in a month to stay for 3,4,5 months IDK, to figure out if this is what I really want for the rest of my life, I think it is. As always thank you for your great advice.

4. I do like your caveats and your analysis of the Islands and also…Saying something that all men and expats should know is that your personal problems and persona will follow you even there. You have to plan and know why you moved there…And what kind of lifestyles and the various nuances and challenges living overseas. If not addressed…Things in all areas, and fronts can pile up… Peace

After spending some time in PH I can verify this is true. Just a few weeks for me and I have no desire to return to US. To me this is more like the US I grew up in decades ago than the US is now.
