What Months and Year was Michael in the Philippines?
How danderous is it to ride a regular bike? Within Dumaguete, and from Dumaguete to Valencia?
A lovely guy who put his story down and continues on the journey to process his grief. Very interesting.
I guess he was living in the city where they had to walk in the skinita to get in and out to go to town.
He could have live in the province and have a car like many expats does.
Michael, I have been here 9 years and avoid Manila like the plague unless I have to go there. If you try the suburbs within about a 40-minute drive from Manila you will find everything much better and traffic less of an issue. I am in Santa Rosa City, Laguna and it is a good area with lots of options and central to all the places you need to get to.
Interesting interview but not a lot on the Philippines. OMP.
