Henry, I think you really need to know the girl before supporting her to pursue a dream or you could be encouraging her for failure. If she has no empathy for students and gets angry when they speak; teaching may not be for them. If they hate caring for people and can’t stand the sight of blood; nursing may not be ideal. If they are introverted and are uncomfortable around people; public relations shouldn’t be considered. Supporting someone’s career is a footpath filled with mines.
