Men should not be taking any iron supplements unless you are anemic. Men’s multivitamin are formulated to NEVER include iron because men almost always have too much stored blood iron because most grain foods are supplemented with iron. Modern vegetables and fruits are not natural in any meaningful sense, they have been selected to be 10 X larger X times sweeter etc.
Everything in moderation is my diet, and walk a mile a day, (after two weeks i call a taxi to take me home)
I’m a nurse in the USA and I work with a bunch of Filipina Nurses. Every training session or meeting has Phillipine food delivered. Yikes! They are all gushing how good it is, including some bread/cake like substance for desert. Yuck. I quit eating it years ago. They are all fat and stand there slurping that stuff down. I’m in trouble when I get to the Phillipines I think. Thankfully my budget will easily afford western style food. The older I get, the more my body demands healthy food.
Health is priceless, without it we are not going anywhere further.
I remember when margarine was pushed over butter. Process foods, too much sodium and sugar are the enemy of good health.
It’s safe to drink water only or coffee tropical Orange juice is owned by Coca-Cola Apple juice as high in sugar also your fruits pineapple mango is pineapple mango and banana is very very high and sugar safe fruits are blueberries blackberries Apple….. Avocado is very good for you it’s a good fat…. Carrots’s high sugar potato pasta rice is very high sugar and a lot of people eat rice and that is dangerous when you get older older but everybody is different..in there thinking …everyone is different in how the bodies takes it in ……as we hit 60 …the weight gain will increase very fast ..good luck …great video as always …
Harder to read the “ingredients “ also. Salt and sugar is everywhere.
Moderate meat protein,, SMALL white vegetable and LOTS OF YELLOW AND GREENS..
(Cold potatoe is a different type of carb/sugar … Almost good for you I was told.).
low carb, keto, and lots of healthy fats for me have been life-changing! Currently reading New York Times bestseller “THE BIG FAT SURPRISE” why Butter, MEAT, and Cheese Belong in a healthy diet – Nina Teicholz….btw…some Vegans take it too far, for example, some don’t believe in breastfeeding a newborn baby!
Hit the gym excersise ..eat for nutrition..watch the bread ,sugar!
Tree bark my favourite..haha.
I’m on the same page Reekay. One meal a day and intermittent fasting to get the pounds off and then stay there without denying yourself everything you want. It’s a difficult balance especially as we age.
Reekay–you eat the same stuff I do!…very healthy and helps keeps diabetes under control for those with needing to keep blood sugar under control.
HI REEKAY!,,,HOW DO YOU OVERCOME PANGS?
many markets in ph are flooded with smuggled good from china that may contain formalin or other harmful preservatives. what veggies, fruits, fish and meat are smuggled from china?
Such good advise Reekay – I am in my 60’s and we were the generation in Oz that were fed much more processed foods than the previous generation which has resulted in a dramatic increase in colon plus other cancers – the message is simple – eat natural and avoid processed wherever possible. God bless.
