As a black man I’ve never had a problem in the Philippines. Even tho I’m happily married for 7 years to a Filipina. Women would still approach me and start a conversation. The thing that confuses me is why they get very close to me if I’m in a crowded area and kinda like smell my cologne or poke me with their finger. Is this like normal thing there bro? I don’t mind but it gets annoying at times.
Based on hard data from dating sites:
Black men and women get the lowest response rates to their messages.
All women except black women are most drawn to white men, and men of all races (with one notable exception) prefer Asian women.

The Philippines is not a homogeneous land, the people come in various shades so I think most probably view race just as different skin colors, not much thought put into it beyond that. Some might have a preference for a white, a black, a korean, ect or no preference at all. Im afro american and the Filipinas I engaged with all asked these 2 things: my nationality and religion. I guess some thought I was a Muslim because of my facial hair. Beyond those 2 items It just comes down to you and how you treat your woman, treat her well and you’ll have no issues beyond the typical issues all relationship face.

When I was a kid we had family reunions every year, and Thanksgiving, and Christmas always made for a big showing, all of the males would gorge ourselves, sit in the front room to watch football. When I go to my Filipinas parents I can’t serve myself, Lola or my girl will take care of all of that. I am white of Irish decent. I saw a Black gentleman walking down a street in Cebu. He had to be in his seventies at least. He had a Filipina on his arm that looked like Lucy Liu, and dressed to the nines..

There is no limits on love nor color on love I wish people would understand what love is it’s not color or limits or material love is pure GOD spirit agape unconditional that’s how GOD loves us and that how we should love each other truth to be told
