Might want to try and make it a two way street. Teach yes, but also find something to learn from her. She grew up with experiences that you did not. Ask for her help; in learning the language as well as understand the culture. This brings the relationship to more of a relationship between equals and not a teacher/student or even daddy/daughter relationship…
