Quick question. I,ve had covid 19 and got over it so I didn’t feel need for vaccine.
Do you think I can still get into the Philippines.? And would like my companion to not be vaccinated.
If I was to guess I would say there’s a good possibility that they are all vaccinated? What are your thoughts?
Hi Reekay, great advise. On my two vacation trips to the Philippines, I tried dating and ended up with LDRs after each but the relationships fizzled out after a few months. One thing I noticed is if you want to find a good Filipina, they are probably so busy with school or work that you might only see them an hour every other day or at most once a week. That makes your short vacation not enough time to form that strong foundation. I’m still young, in my early 30s, and for now focusing on dating locally here in Canada but it’s definitely harder and not as fun as in the Philippines. I’ll give it another year but I’m seriously considering taking at least a few months off to go back and stay longer.
such places are the most expensive ones in Phills, and have the most expensive women, too. Better off finding her in the province or Manila and then take her wherever.

I started with an LDR for a year and then we met for 3 weeks in person. We have been in an LDR for two years now and I am planning to see her again. She already has kids and doesn’t want anymore kids. She’s 39 and has a job. I haven’t been sending money in the LDR. I want to spend more time with her in person. I can’t move to the Philippines because I hsve to support my kids and work a while longer before retirement. So far things are going well.
We have had a 3 yr relationship (2 mo each winter), 3 flights, thousands of dollars, Fb chats every day, then she failed to follow through on the K-1 Visa. So, 3 week vacation? What a JOKE! I will take your advice on the trip. I gave all that up for 3 yrs, to be with my girl in Angeles.
Great content Reekay! Very true. It takes one to two years of living with someone to really begin to understand who someone is. I think men coming from US with scarcity go to SE Asia and throw caution to the wind. I’ve not done that a large part due to your content such as 6 deal breakers. Plus I am not desperate or needy. I’ve met many wonderful Filipinas but it really takes a lot of time to see who they really are and if we are a match. I know many guys who married a Filipina immediately or within a month or two and regret it. Thanks Reekay

Reekay, it depends on where you’re from. I’m coming from Hawaii so I don’t care about tropical settings, including Boracay. Right now, my preference is Cebu city. And as far as time, I visit the Philippines in 3 month intervals, and even that’s too short for me, unless I meet her in the very beginning of the trip. In my experiences so far, when I get to know someone and leave for 3 months, things change, and things change fast here.

Do not send money! You can meet plenty women just hanging out in the food court of the shopping mall in Manila-Makati or Quezon City. Go see the sights and enjoy yourself. If you’re serious about meeting someone. Do one of the dating apps and arrange to meet them within two days of contact online. You can weed out the scammers really easy that way unless your bullshit detectors on the blink. Don’t be a chump. If you’re a chump for women in the US, you’ll be even a bigger chump in the Philippines. Once a Filipina has been married it is pretty much impossible for them to get divorced or the marriage annulled in the Philippine legal system. Don’t bother getting into a relationship with a married Filipina even if she’s separated. Don’t send money! Don’t be a chump! With all that said, there are lots of really nice Filipina‘s. You just have to filter through and find a true match. I went through a good five Filipina‘s dating before I found one that was financially independent enough with a college degree, so it was worthwhile entering into a relationship with her. Good luck.
