  2. Great podcast today Henry, so true re safety net. I am definitely guilty of not yet establishing my safety net “network”, as there aren’t too many expats where I am living. Have expat trusted friends but they don’t live here in my city so I’m at risk because of that should an emergency arise, I’m going to work on this to shore up my “insurance” should anything happen.

  3. Greetings! Thank you for your content.

Curious. You occasionally cite references that are typically associated with Christian (or Biblical) origins/views. E.g. the “seasonal” nature of happiness or CS Lewis (atheist turned Christian), etc.

Perhaps you have previously shared your faith or absence thereof and I have not came across it in your vast content,… or perhaps you prefer to “steer clear” of what can often be controversial topics! Lol!

That said,… if you care to share what you personally believe,… many of your viewers may find it very interesting.

    Would you care to share?

Thank you again for your content.

  4. All you have to do is stay alive; in life things always change around you. This too shall past.

  5. Thank you Reekay.. a very good video …again something we all know or at least should know.. but you have a great talent for putting words to it.
Makes me reflect and reevaluate things in life…

  6. Great video/podcast as always deep thinking time again. I’m back and forward. To the Philippines on a regular basis to see my special girl of 6 years. Would have lived there but owing to my fight with ongoing cancer issues last 13 years not possible but thankfully still in the land of the living beating the odds trying to stay positive, thanks very much for you podcast gave me great comfort.

  7. Yeah, the market is down, which was predictable ,so I moved a lot out of equities bought into energy and have cash to buy in when the bottom approaches. Energy is up 25% this year which balances out the temporary losses.Whenever the price of gasoline increases it’s money in my pocket. Experience has taught me a little.

  9. Hey Reekay, good one again. Wanted to ask,,,, I was one of your last FB chat clients,,, we had a great talk, good info,,, 2 days later I went back to write everything down,,,, FB wiped the entire chat and info. Couldn’t believe it ! Do you still do video chats for bucks? I’m actually coming to PH in August, 2 years wait. Hope all well and good.

  10. very very wise perspective Reekay .. all of these things are on my mind these days .. life is certainly a strange wonderful perplexing trip all in one 🙂 .. regarding the health things: you’re doing it for Vi but you will find once you have more energy and vitality and youthful zest .. that will not only benefit you individually .. but will impact your relationship with a very young women significantly .. in very positive ways .. be/stay ‘young’ for a young woman you love guys

  11. Hi Reekay, I subscribed to your channel not long ago, I’ve found your videos to be soothing to the mind. I’m planning on retiring to the Phillipines this August, landing in Cebu but aiming for Bohol later on. Hopefully I’ll run into you when I’m there. Keep up with the good content. Juan

  12. In the early 90s, I lived on Marco Island selling Timeshares, while there, I joined a local gym (the only gym). While at the gym, I met boxers (retired) Buster Douglas and Gerry Cooney, they both lived/resided on the island. I got a chance to chat with each on several occasions. Buster had moved to Marco Island with family and spent most of his time fishing on a charter boat (he owned it). Gerry had become a businessman and resided on Marco part-time and had several other businesses in the upper Northeast. I remember spotting (bench press) Gerry on several occasions while lifting weights, I remember he stated,” as a boxer he never lifted weights”. Don’t know for sure, but I think Buster ended up declaring bankruptcy.

  13. This is why young people in developed countries aren’t having children. They know how tough life is because peoples’ stories are getting out better now. I remember friends and family try to hide and not tell you how tough their lives are.

  14. Not that you need a rock but I think Vi is a good rock to have by your side
