Since 2012 I’ve been traveling through various islands of the Philippines as a full-time Expat and spent 1999 living in Vietnam.

Share with me my ongoing adventures of life in the Philippines. Hopefully you find my observations helpful in your own adventures.

  1. Still totally fake virus never been scientifically isolated to proven it does exists and the tests do not test for any specific virus, comes straight from the WHO and CDC, and the guy that invented the damn test. Wake the fk up already everyone. How can you vaccinate something that does not scientifically exist yet, and no virus has ever been able to be vaccinated against successfully in the past. Geesh, how long can you continue to live in denial and accept the lies of media and all governments. Best statement ever “Don’t put anything beyond large groups of stupid people”. Reekay you know this is not and never was about any virus. You are too smart to buy into this bs.

  2. YES, if vaccine is mandatory, will constrict visitors even more, when they are trying to encourage them. No sense, but we will have to see. Good to see people pushing back against Qantas. Should happen EVERYwhere. Gotta stop these mindless, everyone should be like sheep, assholes. Vaccines need to be (only) 50% effective. Strengthen immune system is the best answer E.g. Vit D These people are on a wing and a prayer. Better to go and hang out somewhere – as you say – than get blacklisted. Best wishes

    1. If you check out “farmer in the Philippines” he had a failed attempt at a piggery. He went 100% at it and was doing ok till the pandemic hit. There is a lot of good information there. He is now doing a fishery and having success at it. Myself personally I have to ask how much money has he spent on these ventures vs how much has he made. And with all the resources spent on these business ventures would he have been better off just keep that money in the bank. I still think it’s very difficult for a foreigner to make enough money in the Philippines to survive much less prosper.

  3. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/33113270/

Results of the study: COVID-19 vaccines designed to elicit neutralizing antibodies may sensitize vaccine recipients to more severe disease than if they were not vaccinated. Vaccines for SARS, MERS and RSV have never been approved, and the data generated in the development and testing of these vaccines suggest a serious mechanistic concern: that vaccines designed empirically using the traditional approach (consisting of the unmodified or minimally modified coronavirus viral spike to elicit neutralizing antibodies), be they composed of protein, viral vector, DNA or RNA and irrespective of delivery method, may worsen COVID-19 disease via antibody-dependent enhancement (ADE). This risk is sufficiently obscured in clinical trial protocols and consent forms for ongoing COVID-19 vaccine trials that adequate patient comprehension of this risk is unlikely to occur, obviating truly informed consent by subjects in these trials.

  4. I hate it I missed but, I had to moderate another vlogger that was live at the same time. I see a lot of guys are worried about ladyboys. I have been here for two years & have never been attacked by one. Maybe I am just losing my animal magnetism? I thought all men had Adam’s apple but I have been known to be wrong. I agree with U with Ur best guess when the Philippines will open up. Even if they release a vaccine it will take a while for it to become available. A lot of people only believe whit what they want it to be but do not base it on sound judgment. Heck. you can’t even get into Davao City right now. We are on GCQ with the 3-day passes and no one aloud out on Sundays. I would take the vaccine not because I am afraid, I would get the virus. I would do it if I could be free again.

  5. Hi Reeky – I believe your missing something when you say simply test all persons before you board any flight. They say you can have COVID for 2 weeks before it shows up on tests which has been one of the problems with managing it.

    1. This is a problem here in New Zealand, we’re pretty much covid-19 free, but Russian sea workers and the Pakistan cricket team have flown in, taking a test before getting on the plane. In quarantine it’s discovered that 10% roughly have the virus. So the tests aren’t particularly useful.

    2. Most experts and scientists already said that your test might be negative prior to your flight but you don’t know exactly when and how you can get the virus while on transit on the plane, airport, on the taxi or bus or train back to your home or hotel. And suddenly test positive on your arrival or few days after your arrival. That’s how the virus is so unpredictable.

  6. Hi Reekay great live stream, I always find it amusing guys who think they are going to just get their young filipina girlfriend over to the states on a tourist visa. No matter how many times you say it. It never seems to crack their thick skulls. Same with her just leaving the Philippines to go anywhere, she will probably be off loaded, she will never get a tourist Visa to the United states. Always enjoy listening to you, keep up the good work!

  7. I have rescheduled my plane ticket to Cebu for August 16, 2021. Hopefully the 4th time will be the charm. I can’t wait to get back to the Philippines! This will be my 1st time going to Cebu! I have been to Manila and Davao in 2019.

    1. i left duma several years ago to live in cebu, then vietnam. had nothing to do with ‘boring’. just want to see more places.

  8. Is it really required to receive all the shots that are listed by the state department in order to travel to the Philippines

    1. no, not at all. no need for rabies, dengue. the only ones you ‘might’ consider would be for hepatitis and/or tuberculosis. but PH does not require any shots to enter at this time.

  9. Anyone who is daft enough to take this vaccine will more than likely become too sick to ever travel again.
