Can I apply for 13A here in the Philippines after webwed??? Important to know
In the US you need to provide a marriage certificate in which the place of marriage has to be shown so this webwed cant provide that.
that is not correct. webwed results in a legal marriage filed in specific states within the USA, valid for entry to the PH.
visit the channel Armstrong Family on Youtube, he did the online marriage while in the usa and then entered the PH with that marriage certificate three months ago.
Having lived in Utah for 40 years and having half the family Mormons, this does not surprise me that Utah county allows online marriages. Most 18yo mormon men do 2 year church missions to countries all over the world, and upon returning to Utah, some then want to do marriages with a women they met, to bring her to US. Utah has always been a bit quirky (polygamy and baptism by proxy of strangers and such)

Do w know the state of the Marriage in the US (NV?)…or is there a choice?
So…when my gut speaks….I listen…for Alex, my gut screaming SKETCHY…i HOPE I am wrong. If I “divorce” myself from the cringe…strategically you get a USA wedding from Phils…so you have exit out of Phils anywhere…get entry into other Asian countries…access family visas in those countries. Work on her USA visa if you want…or not if you don’t want to spring all those joint rights. Strategically interesting…but is marriage really supposed to be sooo strategic….and twist the laws of the overlapping jurisdictions. My head spinning more than usual. Kawili wili! Sure feels like you get a US wedding….that springs international travel…but can be used to keep the bride out of the states…and from fully realizing all her “intended” rights under a USA marriage. Mind blowing…not sure how I come out here. Brave New World.
I agree. Don’t see the point of going thru all this headache & cost just for her to exit Phils with him. This might make it easier for her to leave but for what? To go to one of a handful of countries that allow international travel right now? Not to mention the crap a person has to endure to board, fly & go thru after arrival. To each his own, I guess. But “sketchy” does seem like the first word that comes to mind about this
Interesting discussion. I’m not sure being married allows the Pinay to travel on her PH passport to a variety of developed countries. A permanent residency visa (such as via an approved I-130 applicaiton) in her passport may help her get to your country and some others. I believe the K-1 visa would be a safer and possibly faster bet. You need your future asawa to sign a pre-nup which requires receiving counsel by an attorney in your country. Peace.
My wife and I got married on WebWed. Me in the US, she In the Philippines. The whole process took 10 days mostly to set up a time for the wedding ceremony. I will apply for a visa, I can’t get a Balikbayan visa because she is not traveling with me. I am applying for a 9A visa, she has to send a letter inviting me to visit her. It takes two to three weeks to receive it from the Philippines. This is holding up the whole process

Wonderful that a Filipina has an option for divorce versus a nearly impossible annulment.

BUT. If she is married in the Philippines does this still apply?
AND…. If the marriage is registered in the Philippines (for the convince of husband coming & going to Philippines & other benefits), will the ability to devorce still be available?

I still find it a little hard to believe some guy in the US could chat a Filipina a couple of times on line & ask her to marry him & throw $1,400.00 at it, then come to the Philippines and go where ever he Damn pleases. I would also have a little hard time bringing My GFs parents’ in their 70s to Cebu to say goodbye when they have never been out of Bohol in their lives. She is 45 do you think it would be easier for her not to be offloaded because of her age?
News just out this morning in UK, Pfizer vaccine approved, first jabs in Scotland starting Tues 8th December. I’ll do an update on my channel this Saturday
@Shrek I only gave freely available facts. I am not trying to persuade anyone to do anything one way or the other. The roll-out of the vaccine is advisory not compulsory. Everyone should do their own due diligence and make their own choice, this is not being a Guinea Pig. Permission for the UK government to administer the vaccine has been given by a well respected and independent authority, the HMRA who have been following the data since June. That is 5 months not 2 weeks. I have done my own due diligence and I’m happy with my decision.
@Shrek The Oxford AstraZeneca vaccine is not going to be for profit anyway. And I’m hearing 95% effective but the 5% remaining that isn’t effective helps dramatically reduce the severity of the illness.

@Reekay’s LifeBeyondTheSea yes, there different protocols in the USA, state by state…in FL in order for me to marry a couple, I need to have both in my presence and prior to that they have to be check by the county and issued the ok papers for me to do the martiage and there places where you have to consummate the martiage as well.
The military has some rules in their favorite areas at times. Best thing is to check with gov agencies you be dealing with.
in that case, wikipedia needs to update their info. as mentioned in the video, the state of utah has already confirmed that this is a legal reality, resulting in a binding marriage.
I’m a skeptic, let the buyer beware.

I can’t see how she could leave her country without any other legal documents ?
I have more than 12 yrs of experience in the areas of marriage and US immigration. The civil docs and realated para-civil and additional support docs are required depending on the country you would like to visit or intent to live for short/ long period of time. In regards to the US immigration processes, questionable docs could end up terminating your process or even with penalties, fines and even doing time… tecnology is use to validate docs and check into your biographicals too, even DNA has been applied where need be. Docs in many countries, when it comes to original docs new tecnology is use to test them…special ink and grade of papers are used by countries to check into suspicious cases. These days with the pandemia is always a good idea to check up to the last minute information about each country and the govs agencies you will be dealing with, even when you are just traveling, check with each country to avoid delays, fines and even doing time.
There is a step involved in the Philippines where you would take your marriage certificate to PSA (Philippine Statistical Authority) formerly known as NSO ( National Statistical Authority) to enter the marriage in the Philippine database and obtain a Certified Copy of your marriage certificate. PSA is located on the National Highway across Dumaguete Springs Apartment , just before Hypermart. Anything you apply for whether your filipina applies for a passport or the foreigner applies for a 13A marriage visa, you will need a certified (yellow copy) from PSA. I would recommend getting extra copies (7). The question is will PSA accept this marriage?
the PH will honor any valid marriage from any country that is between a man and a woman. they will not honor or document same-sex marriages from other countries.
