One of the things I enjoy the most with my Filipina SO – is introducing her to music – movies – and TV shows – she has no clue about. For example – she had no clue about England – or the Queen. So we watched “The Crown” together – and by the end she hated Charles – despised Camilla – and loved Princess Diana and Princess Kate. Doing these things with her – makes me feel young again.

….I don’t like how the US dating sites match you, control who you can see / not see, divide you up by age groups, they don’t let you see people in other age groups, frustrating…
So true! The right kind of differences make a relationship an adventure, for people who like an adventure. I do!
I have always thought “We have so much in common” is a strange form of narcissism. It’s as if we seek out a carbon copy of ourselves because we all think we are so wonderful.
Couples find things to do together and with others.
We have each other in common.
HA! Finalizing my divorce next week with my borderline personality ex I met on EHARMONY. So yeah, it definitely doesn’t vet as well as one would hope. People answer questions based on the ideal version of themselves, not who they really are.
Nice timing… this is really on my mind at the moment.
