I’ve also heard Thailand requires Expats to prove health Insurance and show they have enough money to afford to be there.
Good afternoon Henry. I was in an LDR with my ex Filipina Fiance and now in an LDR with an educated Thai woman. I hope to visit Thailand in 2023 and spend my vacation time with her. Hope for the best!
I just left Thailand and am now in the Philippines, Thailand has a totally different culture and I found some of the people rude and racist, I think the Philippines has genuinely nicer people

When are you going back to the Philippines?
I have been to both places many times, I would take Thailand over the Philippines hands down, I can’t list all the reasons here,
Thai food – especially Thai street food is way better than Philippines’ food.
From what I saw while I was over there, Thai infrastructure is definitely superior to the Philippines infrastructure. I’m a city boy, so I need to have amenities surrounding me. I don’t like to do without my favorite access.
I’d like Thai women more than Filipino women but I think what makes Filipino women more attractive is the lack of language barrier as most of them speak English.
I haven’t been to Vietnam or Cambodia yet, but I may try to go there within the next two years.
