  1. It’s all good for you to constantly wanting to improve your situation with the things you supposedly can control, however my take in all of these … there are so many variables compared to constant which is us, me, myself and I in the equation of life…
    Live and let live…
It’s either plan to live or live to plan…
If we can be somewhere in between that, well… that’s the sweet spot right there…

Thank you for discussing this and other topics about life … Thank you for sharing the successes or wisdom from failures here… This is an Invaluable resource indeed…

  2. Very good Topic. I am actually trying to work on living more in the moment and not so much in the past however it has to be a delicate balance,so we do not make the same mistakes that we made in the past and then also find ourselves not prepared for future. The conclusion is we need to balance out thoughts on all three dimensions, past, present and future.

  3. I’ve made 85% of my Income from people living in the past. Their common lament is if I can only know why, I can find peace, I’ve rarely seen someone find peace when the get that answer. They just tend to dig deeper in the past. In Jordan’s Jordan B Peterson’s 12 Rules for Life (highly recommended read). Rule 4
“Compare Yourself To Who You Were Yesterday, Not To Who Someone Else Is Today. “Let things in your life at the end of the day be a little better than they were this morning. Then you’ll start building ever upwards. Aim small, then grow your ambition. Do that for a month, then three months, then three years, and now you’re aiming for the stars.

  4. “Organizing is what you do before you do something, so that when you do it, it is not all mixed up.” (A.A. Milne)

  5. For a very long time, I focused too much in the past. I had really force myself to stop doing that. So, I am laser focused on the future right now. I hope to retire when I am 55. And because I am too busy thinking about the future, I barely think about my present. Great topic though.
