  2. I wish I could answer that question: What do I want?

Standing behind me is logic holding a gun, and behind logic is emotion holding a gun. I am paralyzed in a state of indecisiveness.

I’m reminded now of what Joseph Campbell once described from a mediation retreat on the heroes journey. In this exercise, you place a number of stones in the palm of your hand; each representing what you value. Then, slowly, one at at time, take away a stone and place it on the ground. At the end of the mediation only 1 stone remains. That is what is most important to you and your quest should embark.

  3. That’s all I’m looking for, “Simple happy life!” I’m 20 years shy of retiring, so I need to build my YT channel so I can be a digital nomad. I always enjoy your content!

  4. I saved time and maybe money . I was talking to my filipina colleague in Toronto Canada, when my wife left me and I told her I want a woman in certain age and speaks English… she introduced me to her widow cousin. Great , beautiful and farmer as well ( family has a big farm) ..I met her last November, after chatting for 4 months July to November, and then travelled to the Philippines, we spent great 2 weeks and back. She is from ilocos she had one 14 year old dependantthat i could look after and no kids from me. I will go there and spent 4 months this November and see and explore if I can settle there

  5. Can I ask something? Why do most Filipino women have children as single moms? Because I have met many such …

  6. I think that most of us just want to come home to a house we own, with a wife and family that loves us,
and not worrying about divorce around every corner.

  7. The same… ”a simple happy life” with true love, in middle of the nature, and i am happy that i already found my future wife. In Mindanao, ofcourse. If there will be a war with China, is the safest island. Estoy muy feliz por ti, Enrique. Btw, hablas español?

  8. Being that I am now 66 y/o I came across your video and I share a lot of what you wanted, I’m retired and make good income, what you said regarding your life plan seems to be spot on for myself as well, I do enjoy Asian countries and am looking to move there as I am currently visiting other countries in Asia as well, I also dream of living a simple life in a rather small village or town near a major city. The Philippines so far seems best suited for me. As far as a wife or dating goes I think that may come in the future for now I’m more inclined to find a good location to settling down. Would you be so inclined to maybe pointing out a few locations that may be good for me. Thank you for a great video, God bless you.

  9. Sir , l can relate, those are my goals as well , l am tired of the political climate in the US , things here are the worst I’ve seen in my 63 years of life ( well more than half of that as a adult) the illegal immigration problem is overwhelming everything here , I’m losing friends and family due to politics and l need to leave and since I’ve visited the Philippines 4 times already, l want to make it my home and l have a pension and SSi , so ( for right now) l can pretty much live anywhere in the Philippines and l want a quieter more simpler life and eventually meet a nice pinay and have a family and I’m even open to giving her a child, l don’t have any children, so I’m open to the possibility but also to live a quiet life and enjoy her and family and friends and going to islands and weekend trips and festivals and to make sure that l have a plan in place to take care of my beloved family when my time comes, all I want is to be visited every year just like their tradition

  10. I agree as usual, with what you say Reekay.
It’s great to plan out the path to personal success, of course sometimes circumstances demand some flexibility. I found that there’s usually many avenues to success. It’s important to be honest with ourselves and what we want, and maybe take a chance on occasion.

  11. Women or women all over the world. Female nature is universal. After 30 years of dealing with one narcissistic abuser after another, I’m too broken to even look in this direction. Any man who’s lucky enough to have a good woman and to raise children into adulthood with her, has my vote of confidence. But as for myself, those dreams have long died.
