Since 2012 I’ve been traveling through various islands of the Philippines as a full-time Expat and spent 1999 living in Vietnam.

Share with me my ongoing adventures of life in the Philippines. Hopefully you find my observations helpful in your own adventures.

  1. You’re absolutely right bro. When I first subscribe to your channel. You were the 1 that told me the Filipina I was chatting was a scam. It started out so cool and innocent. Then the money request began for small amounts first then started growing. My favorite 1was ” my pet chicken was running from the dog and broke his leg. I need 2k to take him to the Dr to fix his leg”. There’s also a long term scam where the Filipina just wants to be friends. She calls and videos almost every day then 2 or 3 months into your friendship she ask a favor and pays you back. Then for years you’re going back and forth with favors sometimes getting paid back, other times not.

  2. I have a very simple rule: “No romance- No finance”.

I’m not sending money, loaning money or wire transferring anything.

My excuse: “I have No international accounts so I can’t send any money”.

    This way, no hurt feelings.

The shame of it is when they are sitting back, watching my social media and seeing me spend lots of money, traveling, buying new cars or buying nice dinners.

Some dudes allow themselves to get suckered into sending these chicks SALARIES. ($200-$500 a month).
