  2. Lots of Good Stuff…. here’s my two cents extra — 1. When he said get there 3 hours early… he is correct, but NOTE: 3 hours ahead is the ‘Earliest’ the gates will open to check in for that flight. My point is, anything MORE than 3 hours early is you sitting butt on very uncomfortable chairs with no extra benefit. 2. I MUCH rather prefer Cargo Short with a drawstring tie… I love the extra pockets. I hate how Sweatpants feel with items in the pockets, but hey that’s just me. 3. I much rather prefer the type of carry-on that has BOTH a pullout handle with wheels AND stowaway backpack type straps (Swiss Gear from Target has a good one). That type of carry-on is Much easier to roll around between gates AND to get all you electronics out and in of when going through all the countless TSA and security searches. I find backpacks don’t hold their shape as well when pullin in and out all my gear. 4. Don’t Forget to ensure your phone is fully charged. 5. Bring a collapsible water bottle with a flip top & carry clip on it. It can be brutal if your dying of thirst and can’t service or it’s $5 if you do get service. 6. Pack a power bar or one of your favorite snacks if your trying to keep your digestive system somewhat normal.

  3. Just one more thing: take painkillers of your choice with you. Sitting for 24 hours in confinement pulls a number on your muscles and joints.

  4. Thanks for the information. Also been noticing lately that you are using I think a lot of AI images… where do you get these, and do they have other categories besides Asian women.

  5. More than one bank card option. Why? I told a very famous bank I was going to be in China…they confirmed this…I went to China…my card was refused. Upon returning home I questioned said Bank as to why card refused…Oh, you didn’t tell us you were going to China!!!!

  6. Im super stressed about flying from miami to Mania (with stop in San Francisco) because im flying with my $15k bicycle which wont fit in the back of anything but a big suv, worried about airlines damaging and customs as well.

  7. So much great advice in there. I also take my shoes off on the plane for better comfort and circulation. But I put them back on before using the toilet. Avoid alcohol before and during flying. It dehydrates you and increases bladder movements.

  8. Great intel thx. My fav airline into Bangkok has been ANA–All Nippon Air–organized and professional thx.

  9. Already got my ticket and it has a 85 minute layover in Taipei. I am used to flying. Didn’t think about the plane being delayed when I booked the flight. That layover rule is a good.

  10. These are great tips i wished that i could have done before i went, and the thinking to prepare with today’s air travel. I prepared for things as best as i could and was surprised that many worked and many things were a disaster, and even seating is to be thought about. I went thru the school of hard knocks and i am bookmarking this video and what you said for a definite future reference. I went through almost all you said, and i will know better next time i go international! Thank You! Peace

  11. Sweatpants or soft cotton shorts, the ones without the seams at the important places. I keep my wallet and PP in an over/around the body wallet. Neck pillow, and earplugs are a must. Screaming children are a regular occurance on PAL flights. Snacks help as well. Asile seat too, if you get the chance and they offer the empty middle seat for $120, it is great. My flight was so great going. Coming back, I didnt have my earplugs and screaming child was killing me. Headset did not drown it out.

  12. That’s great I’m going to copy this so I can check it out again before I get ready to go. Thanks for sharing Reekay

  13. Im flying in 1 way to Manila aquino airport then going to bgc to start. I can use this same advice except maybe maybe get the grab app and use them to get to bgc? Or just make sure my taxi will use meter?

  14. Good stuff. Even flying domestic, I’m more comfortable with a 3 or 4 hour layover. Any idea if the Bullet Scam is still going on?

  15. Great video very informative. Most Philippines this will happen on arrival !Vietnam Thailand less of a hassle i found .

  16. Having made the long trip several times and agree w most of these; I would add:
    1) to use a chest sling bag w zipper pouches for secure easy access to travel documents, boarding pass and wallet rather than sweat pants.
2)Also print on PAPER all itinerary documents, copies of passport, QR codes, Travel insurance declaration, DL and important phone numbers (including cc and consulate contact #s-not cc #) this incase your phone is dead, lost or disabled. Electronics fail, paper does not
. Keep 3 sets of these copies: 1 on you, 1 in backpack, 1 in checked luggage. Also leave a copy w your family at home if appropriate. 3)AirTag in luggage a good idea too.
    4) Also good to have cash in several places on your person. Money belt (w non-metal clasp) sling bag, backpack in hard to find spots.
    5) Also 2 or 3 CC from different banks after calling them about your trip.
    6) stick your luggage receipt in the back of your passport; this helped several times.
    7) I also carry a 2nd backup phone (turned off unless needed).
    8) A 2nd wallet for small amounts of $ & local pesos cash in your pants front pocket for incidentals when arriving.
    9) In pack-pack have 1 change of clothes.
    10) oh and have a small power bank for your phone in your sling bag.
This kind of redundancy always leaves you w a backup for any one loss. This plan has been great for me in many situations. What do you think?

  17. I only fly Philippine Airlines to Manila (from JFK) and I only fly business class. Therefore I have access to the PAGGS lounge (Manila). It’s a 16 hour nonstop – instead of having to stop in Incheon, SK first.

    No problems whatsoever.

The last trip I returned from Manila, my flight was cancelled till 5 AM the next morning. I had to get a hotel room nearby Nimoy Aquino. They overcharged a little compared to the other hotels. I got up early, checked in, had a leisurely breakfast in Paggs and then was on the plane.

  18. If you fly PAL, their new domestic terminal in Manila is now an easy walk, located beside their interational terminal.

For other airlines a longer shuttle ride is necessary. Allow at least 1 hour.

  19. I agree with most of your tips. If you have a quick international connection make sure it is on the same airline as their gates are usually in the same area.. I think you pointed it out in the end if you an international to domestic connection allow extra time. I personally have a credit card that allows me into lounges it is a gold mine often better food than you get on the plane and I’ve actually declined the airplane meal.

  20. Life saver advice brother! Airports are already a giant challenge for just domestic flights. Thanks so much…

  21. Good Info – the screen shot suggestion is new to. me and helpful and the LTO walk it talk it on flag down is new n helpful. If opportunity allows, which AI image generator do you recommend,

  22. Great tips, nothing worse than rushing to catch a flight. Less stressful to have a few extra hours built into check in, connections, etc. Always fly through Inchon S Korea if possible, one of the best airports in the world. Sleep areas, good food, tech area, showers, etc
