Just a comment about screenshot of barcodes AND QR codes.
A screenshot or photograph will not scan on an automatic reader.
I booked rail tickets on line and received an ticket which I also took a screenshot of. When the conductor came to check tickets there was no signal I showed the screenshot which would not scan.
He had to come back twice before I got a signal and could access the e-ticket.
In the UK express trains have WiFi local trains don’t.
I agree screenshot backups are a good idea but not infallible.
