  2. I agree with your final conclusion. Sob-story aside, his demeanor seems shifty and abrasive. In my personal subjective opinion he doesn’t strike me as a “good person”.

  3. I am guessing that he came from a messed up, dysfunctional family where he could never see daylight in his life. We all face challenges but hopefully there is someone to give us hope that gives us strength to overcome. This guy gave up long ago and nothing can be done to help him.

  4. That first guy lost disability because you lose it after being out of the country for 6 months. Also social security may require him to return to the US to reconfirm he qualifies for disability

  5. My question is how he managed to get a passport, an airline ticket, and through PH immigration. At 52 and likely having only worked menial jobs, he was drawing $600 or so a month on SSI or SSDI. Disability income requires frequent completion of medical and other documentation….likely why he was cut off. Failure to plan is planning to fail. Bottom line, I would not hire him nor attend or support his “ministry”….

  6. He wants help…he wants to receive money to be able to keep making the same mistakes that he has made that got him right to this point already. I’m guessing that he’s well behind on his visa renewals too. He’s like Barry Lee Jordan but without the southern accent.

  7. You are at where you are at because of your own doing. Disability in itself is peanuts, my parents worked their whole lives and the best check they ever got of that was 770. Should have stayed in the states. At least homeless shelters and food banks are plenty there. Unfortunately I feel this is a individual with low intelligence that never had proper guidance

  8. I know a girl (RN) in New Jersey, USA who was in a car accident and became disabled.
She could no longer work so she applied for and received SSDI.
Every few/ couple of years she has to reapply and be reexamined to requalify for SSDI (it sounded arduous).
She can NOT work BECAUSE she is on SSDI.
I would imagine that if she did not reapply (this guy?) or be reexamined (this guy?) SSDI would NOT requalify her.
I garnered this information from her talking about it over time.
IDK anything about legal convictions and work authorization.

I would imagine that if you have so little income (SSDI et. al.) in the U.S. he would qualify for all kinds of “benefits” (Sec-8, etc.).

    CHURCHES are IRS 501c3’s.
Playing THIS game with the IRS is VERY dangerous.
The church thing sounds like a straight-up grift to me, and unfortunately so does he.

  9. Something sounds kind of fishy. Not the fresh fish from the fish market. No, more like that end of day, no fridge fish, that has sat in the sun all day and still has not sold yet.

  10. Having known a few criminals in my time, there are telltale signs of who this person is. Manipulation and control are his game. There is no helping him, at least not in a way that would help an ordinary out on his luck kind of guy. It is best stay clear of this one.

  11. Reekay usually is good with finding solutions to peoples problem and if is at a loss, I don’t see any hope for this guy.
The reality I see from this story is that he is directly responsible for his actions. He is in this situation because he choose to be. The disability he talks about also sounds like was not real or was temporary. I do occasionally help people in need but I do not just donate money. I have to now them personally and make sure they are not scammers.

  12. There are 2 invisible forces in the world that no one can avoid: Balance and Karma.

Balance means that if you are given something (or someone), and you do not earn it, then you can also lose it. A lottery winner with no character will probably lose their money.

Karma means that we all reap what we sow. If you don’t work hard when you are young, then you will be forced to work hard when you are older.

I think this guy is suffering because of both Balance and Karma.

  13. If he is getting disablities funds he can’t live outside of the united states.

  14. To continue on with your last words, no I’m not buying it either. Person who is pointing the finger at everybody else put himself. Definitely and clearly a man that refuses to look into mirror.
Let’s see here. He ended up in the Philippines. Was drawing disability but it got cut off. His address back in the United States was a homeless shelter. Then let’s add he has no family or support system. Seems clearly agitated by saying that he’s doing this some type of congregation but nobody’s giving him donations. He can’t work because of legal issues that involve something with 7 to 10 years which is clearly talking about being convicted of a felony without actually coming straight out and saying it. Then he rants about nobody giving him donations, he has no money but yet he can get on YouTube and do a video. Don’t that involve money? As a matter of fact is he even in the Philippines?
Now which type of social security disability is it. Is it the SSI, which clearly sounds like it is because he says that he cannot obtain employment, or is he disabled And he received his full social security. Also as an FYI, SSI is a lesser benefit than actual social security. I think that’s where he’s referring to where he can make it in the USA. So if it’s the SSI then yeah it’s understandable why he got cut off. It’s because he left the country. Different rules apply when you’re on SSI versus having a disability and you’re drawing your social security because of the result of the disability. When you’re on SSI you get evaluated every so often so that way the social security administration can make a determination to see if you can continue with that SSI or be disqualified from it. That’s one distinction he don’t make clear.
I knew you made a comment that you can’t determine or speculate if he’s a convicted feeling or not but I can clearly say that’s exactly what he’s saying without saying it. I know all this stuff because my sister has been in trouble before. He don’t want to use the word felon because he knows that’ll be a automatic deportation.

  15. Call me heartless, but i can’t feel bad for someone who won’t help themselves. I hear nothing from the guy in the video other than “im a victim, blah blah blah”

  16. Can’t he contact the us embassy and get a loan to get back home? I’ve heard of others doing this.

  17. SSD social security disability cannot be received outside of USA. FOR obvious reasons. Ssd checks treatment, improvements, the ability to work. Somebody ratted him out living in Philippines.

  18. Well he’s going to get free shelter in a detention center or a free ticket back to the US when his tourist visa expires.

  19. First off I think we are kind of on the same page on the thinking of this situation.
Anyways, I’ve been with my company for 10 years. From what I can remember of the application, which could have changed, that it asked have you ever been convicted of a felony within the last 10 years and then misdemeanor within the last 3 years. I also know that under normal circumstances that usually after 7 to 10 years of being released from conviction of a felony that no normal employer can physically tell them that they cannot hire them because they was a convicted felon. Job positions that involves some type of security or sensitive information, now that will automatically disqualify them just due to the potential carrying a firearm issue.
But as much as I hate to speculate on this current situation with this person unfortunately I kind of have to speculate.
Personally I question if he has some type of legal issue that he’s referring to. As much as I hate to say this but this kind of clearly sounds like a little bit of a scam within a scam. Kind of more like the feel sorry for the perceived desperate foreigner. You can clearly tell by his voice that he’s clearly trying to make it sound like he’s so irritated and desperate. What he don’t realize is his tone of voice is displaying a lot of anger. The anger of nobody is sending him money. What he don’t know is that I’m sure the bureau of immigration has already received this information and has this video and has watched this video and most likely is in the process of doing a background check. So what’s going to be is attitude or reaction after he gets arrested and deported
