  2. Talking with my Filipina SIL-by-marriage… What I’m looking for Professional, Nurse or Teacher, mid-30s on, Single Parent[or Childless by choice], Never Married, interested in an ExPat… Amounts to about 10 per 100k population. Lower in Province towns or off Luzon.

  3. Unfortunately, your description of young Philippine women can just as easily describe most American female millennials. Just watch a few “people on the street” interviews on YouTube. Most, admittedly with a very few exceptions, have no grasp of history, geography, politics, etc. They’re dumb as a bag of rocks. In other words girls of that age are the same the world over.

  4. It’s the quality and level of education she has. That’s going to be tough if you’re limiting your search to someone in the province with basic provincial education. Ateneo and De Lasalle grads will probably by smarter than you. But then again, they may not want anything to do with you…pick your poison.

  5. I married a woman from Bohol, she’s been he now in the states for 23 years her English is the same, her and other Philippine really don’t have any conversation abilities at all just smiling all the time. They are like teenagers all grown up never learning anything more, they like to describe themselves as being simple and they are right

  6. I know high IQ people here in fact most people I deal with but it’s not a culture of reason. They talk about food. They travel on eating vacations. Hey they have fun and so deserve but such eating isn’t healthy. I mean they really have fun. But I won’t travel with them.

  7. What makes your videos good is because there not long. Some of the ylodders has hour and half or over two hours which I need have time to watch my other loggers.

  8. Hey, maybe I could make a lot of money selling cheap watches to Filipinas. But I suspect that their excuse for being an hour late would be “Gee, my watch must be slow.”

  9. Wow, this is kind of the video I’ve been waiting on. After talking to many filipinas online and in person I’ve discovered a truly deep conversation is difficult to impossible but their inability to do that is perhaps part of the reason they offer the positive traits that they do. Good advice, perhaps will seek out close American friends to fill that void.

  10. I think deep conversation is possible if she’s older and very religious in whatever religion that you can name, Say very Catholic or in Mindenou Muslim.
Religious conversation is the most deepest you can get.IMHO

  11. We all grew up young and dumb. knowledge should be shared with people who don’t come by it naturally, so they may grow with new thoughts and insights of their own. Skills are not learned if not taught, if it was your child would you keep your wisdom from them because they don’t understand. I think that if you want to get deep conversation with your x pat buddy bring your significant other along for the journey and try not to be arrogant while doing so.

  12. I have to tell you that you absolutely nailed it in this video! My Thai gf speaks good English and is fun to talk to and be around but I don’t have a problem with her that she can’t “go deep” as far as conversations go.

  13. Hey Henri I heard they got divorce now so they changed the law? Is this a good thing or is feminism getting traction

  14. Many island cultures are the same. My Mexican friends and African American and Island friends. Just deal with it As an American I am 20 minutes early.

  15. Most people are NOT “deep” thinkers or whatever……….they sleepwalk their way around………..

  16. I give 10 min. If u don’t respect my time, you don’t respect me. Punctuation was learned in the 1800’s.

  17. lol. At times when u have something deep or from the heart to say u may get the “huh” or “what” response. Recently my asawa fell in love & made claim w/my Old Spice deodorant. She asked me ” is this for old people”. I’ve learned big time patience/tolerance & try to understand how/why others think/respond as they do & to just try to roll w/the culture.

  18. Difficult one for those maybe looking to start a family. You need to be able to have deeper conversations over how you would want your kids to be raised.

  19. If there was much demand for Filipinas with deep conversational skills, then there would be a bar in Angeles that offered that service by the hour.
