Don’t be completely honest or transparent. At least not for a while, even months. Regardless of the culture, people are people and people make choices and decisions. Realize, because of the non-confrontational culture, one can’t really tell if a Filipina is being friendly, likes you as a friend or wants you as a boyfriend. It’s an inconvenient truth.
