Reekay I have been watching your channel for many years and it never ceases to amaze me all the subjects that you cover and intelligently. Thank you for another great video
Here in Dumaguete, a Youtuber brought to our expat community’s attention that we are losing one of us, Juells, who is terminally ill.
Juells got on a plane in search of a better life. In the end, he has a loving wife who has been through hell trying to take care of him and provide. He went for the brass ring and got it. In the end, he has an extraordinary woman and children at his side. Instead of dying alone, his final days are at home surrounded by love.
Juelles, may you rest in peace and your family receive the Lord’s blessing.
A you look good man it must be the food and the girlfriend keeps you looking young
Wow what an experience!
I’m dying to go to the cemetery!
Good for you to again…Talk about a subject most expats do not even think about nor consider. Life and death both need to be thought about over there just as adapting to a new and different country like the Philippines. I do the very thing as you do…And it liberates me and makes me more appreciative to life as without death…Life would not have real meaning….Peace
That’s another reason why I want to move to the Philippines, I was also there for All Saints’ Day at Buttan city with friends and to have a wife and a family there and be laid to rest there , I would like it better than here , at least if I start a family there, I would feel like I would be remembered better than back in the United States
Yes it’s different here. Put aside some hypocrisy, rather humbling. I seen people sleep in cemeteries, used as thorofares & parking lots, etc. I lived very close to one back in Iloilo when I moved here. I would sit on my 3rd fl. stoop over the road & watch big funerals come by. Some w/bands playing music, etc. I was taken back a bit observing my new culture…
thank you
The best death comes to all who have lived well!
Wishing you a long life Reekay but when you pass; please make arrangements to continue informing us about your new abode,
You could simply call it ‘Life Beyond’,
Hebrews 9:27. and Genesis 3:19 always come to mind when I visit a cemetery. I often think of all the moments of happiness and sadness, all the memories and the exeriences every person has during their individual lifetime. Our lives are so short when compared on a Universal scale, just a flash across time, or like a grain of sand in the ocean.
