  2. Maybe I’m just lucky, I have never been asked for a onward ticket in either the Philippines or Thailand. Been back and forth a few times. I always dress neatly so maybe they think I’m a business guy.

  3. Good interview. We’re going in late March. Negros Oriental. I’m working on my upload skills.

Stick with the same airline or subsidiary,for example from Brisbane to Cebu,Singapore Airlines to Singapore then Scoot (subsidary of SIA) to Cebu.Transit is the key word,with the one airline company your luggage will be transferred from one flight to the other.DON’T ever go through immigration under any circumstances to collect your bags,it’s all over.The flight Brisbane,Australia to Cebu via Singapore has to be on the one ticket,your luggage Brisbane to Cebu only.My problem with outgoing ticket from the Philippines after one month is not the immigration officer in the Philippines,it’s the airline at your origin,Air Asia used to relish asking you where your outgoing ticket was.This is what i’ve gleaned over the last week or so,someone might have a different interpretation,please let us know.

    n anxiety =shame they treat us like this ,,,before all u needed was
    $$$ ,,,passport,,,n paper itinerary
    im an expat who left in march 2020 now 2 yrs later try go back
    not looking firward to this….as before was real pleasure

  10. I’m the first comment! Yeah. Vern, You can make it! I did 16 days in Quarantine Jail in a Manila BOQ Hotel. I went crazy. 6 days .. you can do it. It is the last 11 days that killed me. Felt like jail. Vlogging was the only thing that kept me sane !!! lol..

  11. I am fully vaxed including the booster. My 3 year time is this coming October 2022 so I will need to do my visa run. I have my vax cards but all attempts to obtain either my LGU Vacination Certificate or WHO yellow card have failed…evidently they are not on top of it…..I was wondering if you could reach out to other expats here in NCR to see what their experience has been? I have some time of course but I like to be prepared with time to spare. Thanks so much….(American tourist)
