My wife and i had to endure a few comments when i first brought her to the U.S.. mostly because im creole. We just literally ignored them saying it wasnt gonna last. Now 10 years later we look at the ppl that used to comment and laugh now.
How common is it for age-gap relationships between older Filipino males and younger Filipinas?
You need only to look at the US census of the 1800’s to see age gap marriages were more common than they are today. It is very advantageous for a younger woman to marry an older gentleman which leads me to believe that women themselves were the driving force behind these marriages. Compound that with the loss of younger men in the civil war I think drove women young and widowed to seek out older men as well. You can find changes in that social excepted age gap starting in the 1920’s, again looking at the records.
Personally I wouldn’t even give anyone the time of day with a discussion about it.

You have to give some of the more savvy Filipina’s credit. They may be younger, but not stupid. An older man can provide everything you mentioned, and most are more than happy to just do the feminine aspects of a traditional relationship. I find the female psyche both fascinating and horrifying at the same time. Some of the most ruthless people I know are women. Do your “Due Diligence” gentlemen, but dont shy away from the younger ones. There are many gems. Live your own life and be happy.

Another top-notch YouTube video, ReeKay. As an American, I am almost embarrassed that the social current and fabric here in the U.S. is this screwed up. The contrast between the two cultures favors the Philippines by miles and miles. My Filipina wife of 20 years (she 47 and me 66 years of age) calls me “Daddy” just because she does and always has. I’m waiting to be arrested by the thought police over here. Federal charges I am sure. . . .

Dr. Reekay…The Philippines would be a paradise for me if I met a younger woman and I don’t have to meet their family upon approval..Freaks me out meeting the dad and he would be younger or the same age as me..and one more thing.,,The world is flat..especially here in the U.S lol…But I get your point overall…
I really enjoy your programming. The Bible is actually is okay with older men having a younger woman. Look at King David and Bathsheba. He was a lot older than she was when he gazed upon her the first time. He already had grown children at the time so that tells me is older. She had no children from Uriah so she was young and we know she was fertile as she was impregnated by David right away. And if God was not okay with David marrying Bathsheba (even after he murdered to get her) then why is she the ancestor of Jesus? That’s all I need to beat those knuckleheads that don’t like these relationships.

Biblically speaking, it is a OK for man to marry a younger woman 18 and up biblically speaking it is OK she has to be of variable age and 18 and up is Marable age does not matter how old man is

About 1:23: I find it interesting that older men and younger women is “OMG” while older women and younger men is perfectly fine. Smacks of “boss babe” hypocrisy. But then boss babe types want it all for themselves and nothing for anyone else…
