I always love to hear the stories. People are at different places in life, and thus have different levels of emotional stability. I had an LDR by mail and phone once when I was a teen, and it did not end well when she sent me a picture and I found out she weighed 300 pounds. 😉 What a voice though.

Guy #1 needed a course in risk management with a stop-loss after $200 with no payout (doesn’t need to be sexual; like if she had excellent judgement/specialized knowledge you need to further your interests.)
A lot of these stories seem to have common threads of no vetting, no 2nd opinion from friends, mis-judgement of long tail counterparty risk, unfriendly business climate, basically a list of things that would tilt the value scale out of your favor.
Thank you for sharing these stories and I hope you share more nuanced accounts of the challenges that expats face in the current P.I. environment.

you may say what you want but this all is sad.
Of course the men in these countless stories are not too bright to put it mildly. However, I think the underlying issue never mentioned is men come to the Philippines to play the dating game using the rules of where they come from. Rules that have told them they are not supposed to act like an authority figure and bow down to the requests of the woman. They don’t know they can act like a man in the Philippines and tell any girl no and move on to the next girl. They are just not conditioned to it. They don’t know there is another girl out there to move on to. That is why first timers coming to the Philippines should do nothing until they get there and observe the situation. Take some small steps first. Or ideally go with or meet up with someone that is a veteran of the game.

You would think men of certain age would know better and wouldn’t need to be told the obvious. Yet you stack these stories mountain high and they never keep coming. There is in fact a sucker born every minute.
Some tips for my fellow friends…
Don’t be afraid to say NO.
You are not her first choice, or the second or third or…
You are not the man of her dreams.
She doesn’t love you.
You are not her first man.
She loves your money not you
You will never be more important to her than her family.
If you allow her to do whatever she wants one time, she’ll do it again, and again…
She doesn’t care about your feelings.
You are not part of her life, only a part of her day.
She doesn’t see you in her future, she only sees what she can get from you.
What she does in the bedroom, millions more can do and better.
You are not the most handsome guy she’s ever been with nor you have the biggest D she’s ever had.
All you mean to her is money.
It’s all about the money…

Wow! These stories make me so nervous. I would never do this.
I’ve been in The Philippines for 2 and a half years now, mainly Makati. If you really know what you are doing, those girls that try that, you can get them in bed so quick if you know how to walk them down their own garden path, (Playing them at their own game) but you have to spot it and do it quickly. The red flags are always there for you to see guys, the girls are not that smart, it’s “you” that looses control, they just play you. In the Philippines, love with your head first.!!

For many years I have been a subscriber to your channel, and you have been telling guys they better learn how to say no, or they will lose big in the Philippines. There are many other vloggers in the Philippines trying to prevent guys from getting taking advantage of. Unfortunately, today in the Philippines 100 hundred suckers just arrived. There are probably more suckers who will never come to the Philippines but are bank rolling some woman they will never touch.
LOL–I think that first story has too much BS in it. For one thing, how did those young, cute single women get past immigration to leave the country (to Malaysia) without getting off-loaded? Those women sound like the types that immigration likes to offload. I doubt those women had all the documentation needed to keep from being offloaded.
On another note, I think many of these guys never learned how to create and stick to a budget. They just earned and accumulated their money and then spend a large chunk of it without giving it much thought. I always find this shocking when an older guy does it as he should understand how long it took for him to accumulate that money verses how quickly his bank account appears to be shrinking.
Reekay is there a word that describes these men? an older man that’s being used for his money by a young female
Insane story, I feel sorry for the first guy. Hopefully he learns his lesson. First time I went to the Philippines I was quite naïve and spent more than I should. There are good and bad Filipinas, and the bad ones will eat you alive if you are not careful.

….classic case of the little head doing the thinking for the big head….and lonely men are very naive….very naive…I chased the dream in Ukraine for 3 years…my stories ended the same as these guys more or less….got scalped….

Why does this still happen? You have been saying this for years. The Filipina Pea has also been saying it for years. There are lots of other Youtubers that go on about this exact same thing. The one guy even watches your channel and still did it.
It’s just truly sad that these men have such low self-esteem about themselves that all a woman has to do is be nice to them and they will open up their wallets.
