  2. One vitally important aspect an expat must consider when contemplating marriage anywhere is, unless he can depend on a steady, long term cash flow from some investments, he is going to have to work, maybe full time, in order to support his new family. If the man is middle aged or older, that may mean working for the rest of his life in order to support his new family. That would be the most important consideration for me, especially if I had already worked for many years, maybe even decades. Even if the wife is willing to work, in a place like the Philippines, it would not be enough to support the family.

  3. Excellent video & good explanation of the pros & cons of staying single (or not) while in the Philippines.

  4. Hi Reekay , great video as always but I have a question- Can you elaborate about options and costs of hiring maids and nursing aids ?

  5. Great advise and comments about setting your life clock in a different country and culture…

“Does other people and circumstances” fit into MY Freedom? It’s your agenda and maintaining it as your baseline…

  6. I’ll be doing a 2 month exploration in less than 30 days from now. Then if I like it I’ll do the same thing over the next couple years while I fix up my places here in the US to turn into Airbnbs. During that time no relationships until I’m down there full time 10 months out of the year. Keeping single will ensure my blood pressure stays low during my time in the US haha.
