When I first met my now wife for the first time on my first Philippines trip it involved a two day ferry journey for my wife to Manila from Cagayan de Oro. She made friends with a woman on the ferry and brought her along. We are all still friends. When you think of how it must be for a woman you can’t really blame them for asking a friend along.
Great content that is so common in the Phillipines. I never had this issue in other SE Asian countries, but it is common in Phillipines. Great ideas how to communicate if casual dating and if seeking a serious monogamous relationship. Thank you Reekay

When a filipina brought along a friend it was for a threesome, and i had a good time with both girls.
How about just telling them upfront that they are only allowed to bring one person on a first date, but prefer just the two of us?
No thanks across the board to her wanting to bring someone on a first date, with only one exception.
I wont know if im interested in something serious until at least after a first date, possibly several. If she doesn’t have what it takes to meet alone on a first date in a public place, she’s not for me.
Im open to get serious with one, but I’ll decide that after dating, not before.
I’ve had that happen before. And a couple of times she didn’t even ask. I just showed up at the date at Shakey’s Pizza and she was sitting there with her friend. I guess I better order a bigger pizza

With that said, by the time I meet a Filipina, she’d already know that a date is between 1 man and 1 woman.
Meeting mom and other family members will come later once I’m interested.
What if the girl you want a date with brings her friend and you like her friend more than her how do you handle that situation?

When my wife and I first met she said her gf was coming along with us for dinner. Fine by me. But then her gf showed up with her bf and with no intention to pay for their own meal. I was pissed but not at my wife. Her balsy gf and her bf was the problem. And Reekay, Chowking is an excellent solution where you won’t get soaked financially.
