I’ve played around with a version of this—balancing multiple girls, including a “main” one—but I do it with honesty, letting each girl know that I’m not ready to commit to one person, so the relationships are “open.” I’m still trying to decide if it’s a model I want to continue using or not. Compared to the cheating/lying version, it seems better. It still does have tension, because the main girl typically wants exclusivity which she is not getting (and maybe some of the other girls do, too). But overall, it’s honest, and it seems maybe better than any other kind of setup I’ve found, if you want freedom *and* lovey feelings of connection in your life on an ongoing basis. Idk, the jury is still out for me
