  1. My wife is Filipino. We live in the US. So many Chinese ladies think she is also Chinese and start speaking mandarin to her. I don’t think she looks Chinese at all but they would know I suppose.

  2. Thankyou Reekay, a great video. I sometimes see Filipina with large mandible, no overbite, large mouths and great teeth. Very distinctive, I call them Sea People. I remember a Bakery in Cagayan de Oro and an attractive young woman with obvious European look and about 4’8″. Another bakery in Cebu a woman who looked a younger version of my now wife. Then you have to discern their often delightful personality. The varieties can be really interesting, not to mention striking and appealing.

  3. is it hard to find a Joan or jinkie (A tall girl) i LOVE tall women? where are these beauty pageants?

  4. You never mention the Negredos, The Original dark skin Afro Filipinos (like Pygmies) that I’ve seen in Subic/Clark Area. They tend to be in different groups that lives apart from the rest of Filipinos., They mostly live on government land in the jungle.

  5. Spanish admixture is very small (around 5 percent) in the Filipino gene pool.

Wikipedia: “The results of a massive DNA study conducted by the National Geographic’s, “The Genographic Project”, based on genetic testings of 80,000 Filipino people by the National Geographic in 2008–2009, found that the Philippines is made up of around 53% Southeast Asia and Oceania, 36% East Asian, 5% European, 3% South Asian and 2% Native American genes.”
