Since 2012 I’ve been traveling through various islands of the Philippines as a full-time Expat and spent 1999 living in Vietnam.
Share with me my ongoing adventures of life in the Philippines. Hopefully you find my observations helpful in your own adventures.

can u see your hand in front of you at night? I've always lived where there are street lights so never pitch black at night.
Aside from at least a half-moon out, once night has fallen it’s pretty much pitch-black out here. Can’t even see the ground! No streetlights. No city-light glow. Neighbors turn off all their lights to save money after 10pm so.. it is the “heart of darkness” after that. But all the stars you see makes it all worthwhile!
