I just feel like they are toying with our emotions keeping us on a string keeping the carrot dangling but I also feel that most people will just move on and lose hope and just decide on other countries to be with there loved one of Philippines keeps playing with people the people will lose trust on the Philippine government
What I saw seemed to indicate access to Boracay….which might be cool for a true tourist, but not quite as useful for me….when things finally loosen up.
Doesn’t mean diddly squat as long as Duterte is in office.

Things are happening over there, it’s just a matter of time
Problem is the IATF, as all bureaucracies, hate giving up their power and TERRORitory! Consider: IF the SCAM-demonic is totally finished IATF b’rats will have no pirate ship to maraud, extort and harass everyone, including El Presidente! So they’ll keep their tyrranical “protection” scams going as long as they can. B’rats are like cancer cells!

Hello Henry and great update. Yes, I agree that many of those who quickly read the title will only speculate that it is opening now but of course, that is not the case. My prediction still stands between March 2022 and June 2022. See you later!
I don’t think this will happen until after the elections next year… Too many job losses in the IATF and what politician wants that on their watch?
Henry thank you for posting this video. Big problem here is too many fingers in the pot. BI started hiring more people a few months in the past, that is what they mean, they have hired enough people. The BI also posted on there web site yesterday, you still need the EED for foreiners to come in.
So no tourist yet ?

I’ve got a year left on my tourist visa but I’m being forced out due to lack of finances. I wish I could get a break and find some kind of income because something very special has happened and I really don’t want to ever leave.
Yea things here in Australia are back to normal just about. So international travel also getting on track

Lol ready for open borders…isn’t that their job?..issue new visas already
BI has no say, this article pulled all of its info from the last IATF press briefing. The IATF Thursday’s press briefing said they will look at opening the borders “In Due Time” and that’s a direct quote. They will investigate how Thailand opened its borders with the travel bubble. Out of all of this, the good news is they are now looking for 40 to 50% “public safety” level vacination to open the borders. Right now they are at 36%. I think they realized they will never achieve 70 to 80% they were looking for. The tone of IATF did not sound all that encouraging to me but it was different because they are at least talking of opening.
Vaxxed or unvaxxed?
The BI has been ready since March 2020, however the ITAF is making too much money with the current regulations . Maybe March 2022
Airfare has doubled right now. I did not find bear normal until March.

One thing I can say about the United States, when they planned on opening up its borders to foreign countries, they gave a specific date. No if or maybe, no play on words..
The article doesn’t say they are already hiring people at BI. It only says they have a plan on the shelf on how to hire people once the need should arise. So basically this article only states that the BI remarked that they think they will be ready to do their job once everything opens up, at least they got a plan. It says nothing about reopening though. I also got a plan to fly to manila, once PH opens up. Same thing.

Yeah,… the Philippine government really needs the revenue from tourist and foreign nationals. Especially since they have done an excellent job destroying what little Philippine economy they have. Everything there is a pathetic joke! I’m very sad for the people there, there government doesn’t care about them. ETC!

This is not 2021 FOLKS. No way, no how. Presidential Advisor Harry Roque just held a Media Briefing noting they are making PROGRESS towards REQUIRED vaccination by the END…he said THE END…of December. FilAus YouTuber Jennifer Terri just covered this well — search for her most recent vlog to SEE the PRESIDENTIAL advisor Roque. Roque also noted that the Philipppines will MONITOR the results of Thailand and other countries opening and as always follow the BEST SCIENCE on FULL CONSIDERATION of the IATF in — DUE TIME. Du TERTE Time…same as it ever was. Opening is 2022…same as it ever was. Merry Christmas
It just means they are ready, doesn’t mean there open, and what’s his name said they will open in due time, lol, I don’t think it’ll open for tourists until sometime just before, or just after the election. Like you said, it’s all over social media.
One problem here, Immigration doesn’t determine when they are open for foreign tourist. It is the IATF and the president that are the deciders…….

The MAIN QUESTION is, do we have to get the vaxcxxxcxxcc in order to arrive? If they say we can do a quarantine, do you know how many days they require?
This doesn’t mean much. The BI has always been “ready to open”. Abolish the IATF!

Unfortunately even if they do open at the end of 2021 or even in 2022 it will not do me much harm as I will not actually get back until 2023 as I will be sailing back to the Philippines but cheers for the info much appreciated

My guesstimate is Cebu will be first Airport to open to Fully Vaxxed by Dec 1st. I think the Quarantine will be only 1 night ( Like Thailand). Hoping and Praying all can get home for Christmas. Thanks for the Update 🙂
Well, this sounds like it’s heading in the right direction. It will be interesting to see what “mandates” they try and impose on tourist. Having conversations with quite a few people who would like to visit will wait and see if they will be required to wear one of those rediculoous face shields or face mask. If that will be a stipulation, they will not travel to the Philippines. People have had enough of walking around with diapers on their faces.
