so I was basically directed to your site from a relative who is familiar with your website. he told me you were IT and also from Temecula. I too am IT, retired this year after 40yrs service and from San Diego.
wondering if you can tell me how you've managed to deal with the heat there or do you go on vacation when it gets too hot? I've been back and forth a number of times but only for a week or two at most. my last trip, sep 2o17, was for a month and I totally enjoyed it.
my thinking is that I would like to retire to the Philippines since my retirement check will go further than it would in California. and I don't have to work myself to death just to survive.
I have more questions and i'm hoping I can get some insight. thanks
sorry for the very late reply, but the heat here is "not that bad". in fact, unless you are taking a walk at midday (which few people do unless they have to).. the rest of the day is fine. might sweat a bit more if overweight. but by comparison guys tell me that thailand is much, much more humid and hot than the PH.
plus, there are places like valencia (on negros oriental) and baguio (up north, near manila) which have cool temperatures.
