    1. Is there a longer version of your lead-in song?

Or what’s the name of that song?

      Thanks.

    1. yep. she’s always looking out for me. potholes in the sidewalk, crossing traffic, seeds in my oranges.. 🙂

  2. Maybe I’ll try AA BBQ again Reekay…usually go to Yakski in I.T. park where I love their Chicken legs and chorizo

  3. Looked yummy! But, Rice for breakfast at home. Not sure about that! Each to their own. Have a nice day! Thank you….

  4. Never been to the one in Lahug, but have been many times to AA in Bulacao, and Minglanilla… Never disappointed.. I usually get a pitcher of the juice.. I can’t do rice for breakfast, but do have it a couple of times a week for lunch or dinner… Thanks for the video…

  5. Hello Reekay, just went to Fort San Pedro yesterday. Seen a lot of AA BBQ throughout Cebu, haven’t ate there, but it looks great

  6. Nice food. Nice lady. No rice? I love rice! Have you tried the app Eatigo? Good discounts. I have tried it for buffets in Manila, Cebu and Bangkok.

  7. There’s a lot of little things she does which screams…. She’s the last one

  8. Hello Henry, I see the cab driver wearing a mask, what is the situation in your area? Is everyone paranoid or just life as usual? Confirmed cases rising almost everywhere. Whats the on the ground situation in your area or Manila?

    1. two weeks ago, about 70% of people were wearing masks. now.. maybe 40%. but that might be because most every place has sold out on them.

  9. Love your videos. You are one traveling dude! I am going to check out some of the places you have visited when I travel to the Philippines next month. Have you ever traveled to the Naga, Camarines Sur area?

  10. Hello Vie, Hi Reekay! hope your day will be full of fun, peace, joy, and love. Hoping to meet you both when I come to the Philippines.

  11. i have been with many filipinas and rice is gold to them ,…how did you brainwash her into no rice ,,lol

    1. ha!! she was just already that way. had her own garden, prefers vegetables to rice. 🙂

  12. Sir Reekay, one of the FEW places that consider food safety for patrons, refrigeration
for perishable and ice down seafoods i like

  13. Your gf is great reekay. You seem so much more at ease now…since your motorbike days. I know youre busy nowadays, but if you ever get over to luzon,…antipolo, maybe me and my filipina gf, could hookup with both of you. Thanks…you slwaz give sound advice.

    1. hopefully we meet in the same city and can do that sometime. 🙂

  14. She is always smiling and with a positive attitude.  She is awesome, Reekay and you found the right one.

    1. @Reekay’s LifeBeyondTheSea Long time subscriber Mr R …. Question: Can you get ‘Old Bay Seasoning’ locally ?
      Thanks

  15. After watching a few of your videos i have waited a while before i made a decision to make this comment . Men travelling to Asian countries marrying or getting into relationships with much younger women are seen as exploiting them and taking advantage of their vulnerability . What is your view point on this?

    1. I was under the same delusion before I experienced an age gap relationship.
Once jumping in, the gap disappeared.
The benefits, especially for the female, have continued to grow.
There are many concrete reasons that so many Pinays seek a long term relationship, often including marriage and children, with an older foreigner.
In the absence of historical and scientific proof of the benefits to all stakeholders, there is no doubt that this subject evokes negative emotions, prejudice, and even unjustified offensive condemnation.

    2. 99% true. Obviously most of us will be defensive about it, but there is truth to it. Nobody want to feel judged. You won’t find these arrangements in countries where living conditions are decent!

  16. The food looked delicious. We’re heading back to The Philippines this month. Hopefully we don’t have any issues with the corona virus causing travel bans or anything like that.

  17. Nice video , yes … All rice seems to be contaminated with arsenic … Not good ! According to research online .. But in moderation we still eat a little rice too ..

  18. I love AA BBQ, used to go to the one in Minglanilia, South Cebu City. Had my wedding reception there when I got married to my ex.

  19. Brown rice is a good replacement for white rice as there is fibre in it which reduces the Glycaemic Index.(Rate of transfer of glucose into the bloodstream)

  20. Good to see you going carnivore. Cut out the rice, vegetables and fructose. Rabbit food is only for the poor who can’t afford meat.

  21. Never seen a place where you can choose raw meat and they cook it this way. This is a first.

    1. @Millard Iverson hope you can visit Philippines soon, I can show you around, Filipina here ❤️

    2. @Reekay’s LifeBeyondTheSea PH is a must visit for me, I enjoy your videos.

    1. i stayed in lahug for about 2-months a while back. interesting area.

  22. I’ve enjoyed many great meals at AA BBQ Lahug. My favorite is the deep fried Bangus and deep fried shrimp. Sarap!

    1. and she is always improving, often asking me on pronunciations and grammar. 🙂
